Todd Kurtz scored 11points in three rounds. I hope he is not going to be the weak link for the Tigers. I was not convinced about his signing from the start, but we will have to wait and see, and hope he does the business. utt

Same rubbish as usual. Read post 820.

You need to get a life pal. It's all utter rubbish.
-
Maybe its all rubbish that you have posted. Maybe.

Is this a wind up.

I bet we can all remember Steady, Compton, and others flying around the outside, throttle wide open. Very spectacular with no fear. totally confident in their ability and trust in other riders. I have seen young Bates do it now and again. It used to be like that every week. Those were the day's. UTT.

I would hope the promoters are going to have the track prepared differently for next season. I hope so because this year it was gate and go, no overtaking and not very entertaining. We look to have a decent team so i would like them to have a track that they can race on, even if they miss the gate. UTT

Did Todd Kurtz really do those things. If so bang out of order. Yes it is cheating.

Championship Teams Comparison Time
graz gp replied to balderdash&piffle's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I think i will wait to see what happens on the track, then we will see who has the best team. -
So what's wrong with Josh G. Tried and tested.

Great news on Steady. If we get the last two signings right, i think we will be right up their challenging for the silverware. Steady should be on the ball with all the setup's etc, and with him being quite young he should be on the same wavelength as all the young guy's in the team. I hope they will look up to him and take his advice, especially the younger ones in the team. From what Steady says the team building should be finished this week. Then roll on to the start of the new season. UTT.

When Steady was in his prime, what a rider he was. Watching him and Andre Compton belting round the boards throttle open all the way, what a sight. You don't see that anymore. So thanks for the memories and have a great retirement. Once a Tiger always a Tiger.

Josh is a great signing. Thats the one i wanted, and he is a proper number1, he will score points wherever he rides. The team is starting to look very exciting. If we get the last two riders right i think we will be right up their. I can't wait for the season to start, especially if they sort the track out and put a bit more dirt on it, which should make for better racing. UTT

He says he is not going to put himself under so much pressure next season, and he is just going to try and enjoy it. That could work for him and he might be a lot calmer on the bike. Imo if he starts well he could be in for a good season. I hope. We now need a good number 1. Another Josh please.
-
Totally agree Spin. His record speaks for its self. He must have something and he is still very young. If the tigers don't sign him i think they will be queuing up to sign him.
-
Like most decent rider's Bates is great when he gates, and last season you needed to gate at Owlerton. When he does not gate he tries all he can to catch the other riders, but throwing the bike all over the place and not riding the right lines makes him look a bit out of control at times He is only a young guy and he will learn. I see him speaking to Steady a lot in the pit's so if he takes notice of Steady he won't go far wrong. So i hope we sign him for this season, he could be a steal on a 5.02 average. UTT

Great signing Jpb. Looking forward to watching him piling the points on for the Tigers. I have a feeling we are going to have a very competitive team for 2017.
-
Grajzconek please.
-
I though Sissi was on 3.79 av. I dont think we will see Sissi riding speedway next season, unless Glasgow come calling.
-
I agree Kyle Howarth looks nailed on. If that is the case what about Josh Grajczonek and Jake Allen. That would leave us 4.64 for the last rider.
-
Josh Bates and JPB will be next. Then it will get interesting.
-
Did Jpb ride in the premier last year, and did he get an average, if not its 2pt av next season. Am i on the right track(excuse the pun).
-
Whoever we have riding for the Tigers next season the racing needs to be a lot better than the last two seasons. The track was way to slick. It was gate and go hardly any passing boring. Steady and co used to belt around the outside in the dirt, great to watch. Howarth is a big pal with Grajczonek, he will be looking to double up so could he be our new number one. Hope so.

If the premier and championship teams are going to be a lot closer in strength, does that mean the admission prices are going to be about the same price. Me thinks not.

What, am i on the wrong forum.
