Sheffield V Ipswich Sgbcl Ko Cup S/f 1st & 2nd Legs
graz gp replied to Blackadder's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I think this will be a lot closer than the last visit from the Witches. If the tigers can get a 10/12 lead they will have a chance. The tiger's will be well up for this match, something to prove after Mondays match. So it's a big COME ON THE TIGERS. -
Relegation And Promotion Play Offs
graz gp replied to flagrag's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I thought the attendance was a bit up on a normal Thursday night. They were quite a few Lions fan's on the 1st and 2nd bends and they made a bit of noise cheering the Lions on. utt -
We were out gated in nearly every race. Heeps and Newman at reserve, end of story. We have just won the league and this is the first time the team have ridden at Owlerton. A total damp squid, no celebration. just a good hiding. That made all the tigers fan's that stand near me really p-ss-d off. That's how to promote speedway. Let the fans down.utt

I would hope it's Scott Nicholls as the guest for the away leg of k/o cup. If not both legs. They should be good matches, Ipswich will want revenge and the Tigers will want to do the double, which i think they will UTT.

Brilliant. The tigers have been the best team all season. Now can't wait for the promotion match. That should be a laugh. To actually win the match that's what Champions do. UTT. -
Ipswich V Sheffield Po Final 2nd Leg 30-9-17
graz gp replied to Super Blue's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
The tigers should have enough in hand with 16pts to take the title. Scott Nichols will be very professional and do what he as too. His inclusion should make the Tigers stronger. I would rather Josh G rode after the season he as had, but it was obvious he would not be able to ride . He had to be helped of his bike on Thursday. Both sides need to get off to a decent start, so the first few heat's should be interesting. I will take Ipswich to win the meeting and Sheffield to claim the overall win. Everybody safe please. Sheffield V Ipswich 1st Leg 28/0917
graz gp replied to Moranboys's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
He guested the other week for the Tigers. So what are the tigers supposed to do go with a reserve or just have 6 riders. Those are the rules. If the boot was on the other foot the witches would do exactly the same thing. I wish Josh G was fit he deserves to be in the final after the season he as had. But Scott Nichols a great guest. The tigers are a better team than the last time we rode at Ipswich. So i expect them to be a lot closer than before. UTT. -
Sheffield V Ipswich 1st Leg 28/0917
graz gp replied to Moranboys's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Great meeting some spectacular racing, Josh Bates was brilliant you could see he gave it everything. The second leg should be another tense affair. I think the Tigers with a 16pt lead have enough to hang on for the win. Scott Nichols for Josh G would be a great guest. UTT. -

The team is on their web site but it takes some finding King, R/R, Heeps, Newman, Schlein, Greaves, Bacon. -
Sheffield V Ipswich 1st Leg 28/0917
graz gp replied to Moranboys's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
If the tigers get a 15 point lead, i would hope we could defend that at Ipswich But if all our guy's are fit i think we could finish the tie here at Sheffield. The weather is great. So the track should be spot on and we should have a good crowd in tonight. I am really looking forward to the meeting. So come on you Tigers. -

Sheffield V Glasgow Po Semi-final 21 Sep
graz gp replied to SharpenRake's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
A totally different performance from Glasgow from the last time they were at Sheffield. If they had ridden like that tonight it would have been a different result, a lot closer. But i can see the Sheffield Tigers going up to Glasgow and winning. No score predictions this time. utt. -

That's why i put a big if. This is speedway anything can happen. But the Tiger's will win. I am in the town centre, no rain from about 2pm. Just looked to the heaven's and it seems to be clearing. Fingers crossed. I see Josh G and Kyle will have a run out in the riders championship on Sunday, just right for Tuesday. utt -

graz gp replied to SharpenRake's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
If Sheffield ride anything like they can it won't matter were you use r/r or what order you use. If Sheffield ride the first half of the meeting like they normally do the second half it will be 60pts. But that's a big if.The weather has been ok from about 2pm. We have not had any rain since then and it is 3.33pm. utt. -
No risks tonight, more important meet Thursday. Keep out of Garrity and Barkers way. utt

Berwick V Sheffield 16/09/2017 @ 7pm
graz gp replied to screm's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I think the Tigers will be too strong for the Bandits. Worrall will be a good replacement for Josh G. All the Tigers are riding pretty well at the moment. I will take a win by 8+. Hope all the riders are safe, no injuries please. Some big meetings coming up for the Tigers. Utt -
That's how to run two speedway meeting's. Congratulations to all concerned, riders, track staff, who must be the best in the business. No messing about. Curfew at 10pm. Dun and dusted for 10pm. Oh and the Tiger's were awesome. Lasse in heat 9 wow that was special. Imo it does not make any difference who the Tigers pick. Keep it close in the away leg's, and sort them out at Owlerton.( i hope) UTT

If that is not the performance of the season in any league i don't know what is. This sheffield team is the best we have had since 2002. If Josh G and Kyle Howarth are not the best 1 and 5 in the league will someone let me know who is. A big up for the promoters at Sheffield. Making Simon Stead the team manager was a great move. Also they are not afraid to make a change, if it's needed. Imo it should be young guy's like we have at Sheffield who have an input into what happens in the running of speedway, they could not do any worse than the old fart's that are running the show now. Some fresh ideas that could be talked about, because if we carry on as we are there won't be any speedway to watch for anyone in the uk. Sorry for the rant. UTT

Jason Doyle In This Weeks Speedway Star
graz gp replied to diamond_ren's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
If things dont work out with the brexit negotiations and if i understand it correctly. All these whinging aussies will be crying out for a visa to race in uk and europe. I know what i would do with them. They don't say anything about the track's when they are working there way through the leagues in the uk and learning there trade.
