  1. What a shock. Terrible news he always promoted speedway and seemed a really nice guy. Big shoes to fill. RIP.
  2. Sorry, Kolejarz Opolo that's the full name.
  3. Lawson signed for opolo in polish 2nd division.
  4. Very boring. Big changes needed. Over to the bspa. But not very hopeful.
  5. When was the last time the tigers lost 4 matches on the trot at home ? Utt
  6. Sorry that is not acceptable. Out gated, out fought. Well done Newcastle better than the tigers in every department. Could someone explain what's going on ? Everyone around me on the first bend were shell shocked did not believe what they were watching. UTT.
  7. Bjerre down to ride at Workington tonight, it's on the tigers website now.
  8. I've been told that Bjerre turned up ready to race.
  9. No statement yet from the tigers, Bjerre tweeted it this morning asking if anyone saw Paul Bates sack him in the bar last night. Very strange. Utt
  10. That did not surprise me at all. The Bears we well up for it, we never looked like we could win the meeting, out gated out fought. When did the Tigers last lose three meeting at home, I can't remember. Something's not right. Earlier in the season we were OK at home so what's changed. We have two home meetings left, Newcastle and Edinburgh its to be hope we can win those two meeting, but if we ride like we have tonight no chance.utt.
  11. I just don't know what to expect, if we ride like we have in the last two home meetings it will be another defeat. The Bears have guy's that can go round Owlerton, so we need to be on the ball and gate. Charlie Wright at number 1 not convinced he is up to it. But hoping for a Tigers win. It will be interesting to see how many turn up for this meeting after the last two home results. Utt.
  12. Well done Scunny. That was embarrassing from the Tigers no excuses just rubbish. Worse than last week.
  13. I think their will be a few fan's up and down the country keeping their fingers crossed that they have speedway to watch in 2019. If you believe everything you hear from other track quite a few are struggling. The people that run speedway need to think very hard in the close season as to wear speedway goes, because as we are now we are going down a very slippery road.
  14. I think this will be a Tigers win after last weeks shocker. The Tigers boys will be keen to make up for that showing. Wright at number one. It will be interesting to see how he handles it. Young Joe Lawlor is at reserve and i think it will be hard for him to score any points. But good luck to him. George Wood gave it a right go but it did not happen for him, the bike's never looked right. So it's a Tigers win for me 10+. utt.
  15. Thanks for that Andrew.. That's great news we could have better standing conditions than we have now.utt
  16. What's going to happen at Owlerton when they built the new banqueting suit. Its going to be built were the first bend is. They as going to demolish the Hare and Hounds bar and build a 5 million banqueting suit. According to the local press planning permission as already be given and they hope to start in early August. Will their still be a standing area on the first bend for us speedway fans. If not, i can see a lot of speedway fans being very unhappy. We will have to watch our speedway from another part of the stadium it will be the 3rd and 4th bends or the home straight, unless provision is made on the first bend but I don't think the speedway fans will be top of their list, but I could be wrong. Could this put the future of speedway at Owlerton in any doubt. Any thoughts ?
  17. So Mr Lowe did you find that display last night ok. I have not seen a tigers team throw the towel in like that in a very long time. Just ask Mr Stead. I don't think my comments are irrational or negative just facts, but that's just me. I pay my entrance fee and expect a lot better than the rubbish served up by the tigers last night. The track conditions were the same for both teams so that's not an excuse.
  18. Not a bad result for the Tigers, i think it's the best score for an away team at Lakeside this season. Broc looks to be a great find, give him a couple of seasons and he could be anything. He needs to stay away from the injuries though. utt
  19. This should be a big home win. Kyle's first meeting back, Lasse out for 9 days after is crash last week with concussion. Broc never seen the track before. I just hope we can put on a decent showing. 35+ will be a good effort. But maybe the Tigers will surprise me. Utt.
  20. That was a very entertaining meeting, Plenty of overtaking, a couple of nasty crashes, how the riders get up from those high speed crashes is beyond me. I hope both Lasse and Cameron make speedy recoveries. Todd Kurtz gets better with every home meeting. Both Tiger's reserves especially James are also starting to show us what they can do. We need to pick up some points away from Owlerton and with a bit of luck we could get in the playoffs. Plus no more injuries please. Utt
  21. Did you go to Sheffield on Thursday plenty of good races and plenty of passing, just ask Berge.utt
  22. After tonight's defeat at Scunny in the ko cup, we have 6 more meetings at Owlerton and the season will be over. Because i can't see them getting in the playoffs. That will be great. Me thinks it's time to jack it in.
  23. To bring Nicol in they had to drop Smith and bring Wood into get within the points limit. I think Broc has done very well to say he as never seen any tracks in the UK. We should have sorted the situation with Bates out a lot quicker than we did, but it is what it is so let's get behind the team and support all the riders for the rest of the season. Utt.
