Two of them has been employed by Sheffield actually Mr Happy Clapper Also one at Wolves one at Swindon , one at Redcar and one at Scunny, I get to know things fella ... you would do well to listen to me and not be so grumpy all the time , all you ever do is moan about people moaning !

Wells will be in a great frame of mind to ride for Sheffield , he has only signed because he cannot ride for Wolves if he didnt ! If you thought he was mardy last season whats he gonna be like in the coming season on reduced money ? Yet Sheffield take 3 risks on the back of a dire season !

I really hope they do rip up the track Adrian , that as much as bad team selection has been a factor in the drop in attendances IMO. The by and large proccessional drivel we have been served up with the slick track has been a real turn off and when the track was ripped up before teams/riders talked themselves out of points before they had even started , even Grievsey has been comfortable around it and any home advantage is given up with a slick track.

There is a lad that lives 10 minutes away from the stadium that would incur no travel costs and IMO would out score Wells , Sanchez , and Schramm , not saying he's ideal and would make the team world beaters but look at his 2011 scores for Scunny and he's a better option than all the others mentioned ... especially with how the track is now prepared !

Forget Wells , heard what they have offered him today and even though I am not a fan of his its an insult ... god knows how they are going to get someone worth the title of second heat leader if they are making others the same offer ???

I think they should have gone for Rick France instead of Larsson and Moran instead of Andre. The promotion have to put a product out there worth attending , if its how you see it and we HAVE to go we may aswell set up a direct debit to the club to take some cash every week , its the same as a resturant , , a band or a football team ... if the product is poor people will not go and its not people like me you have to convince its the occasional attenders ! With the promoter being in the frame of mind the co promoter is saying he is the last thing they should have done this winter is to go with an experimental team !

Correct , maybe we should do a press release for the Star with words to that effect.

If your sure about the circumstances of the two riders then fair enough , I can still see the promotion incuring costs from using those two though , as for the other two mentioned ... you know what you would get with those ... lets hope the three gambles picked perform or it may spell the end for Sheffield speedway ! Fact ! So are you saying the 2 better riders than two of the gamble picks would cost the extra money the extra fans bring in ? Dak North and Ben Wilson would have been better picks and would cost less by the time the two johnny foriegners get set up over here with vans and accomodation etc ! How come Leicester , Somerset , Scunthorpe and Edinburgh can afford a better quality of rider than Sheffield can , bear in mind someone (I think we all know who is paying a large chunk for Stead if not all of it) with probably less people through the gate ? There is no need for the personal insults either ... unless its squall you are replying to I have not personally insulted you Elephant , no need for it.

Its was 99% because you built a poor team Mr Hoggart ! A better team and a couple of hundred more fans there and running costs are met , the main reason Neil was going to pull the plug was the hassle he got after the called off PLRC meeting !

Abuse ? All I have said some of the riders signed are not upto the job IMO and that Sheffields decline coincides with the start of a certian co-promotors input !

Ok I apologise , been to Newport Hayley stadium half a dozen times once for the Glasgow meeting pre GP and the Welsh open twice when good numbers were in attendance but when I have been with Sheffield there was just one man and his dog there.

Good point but have Newport ever had big crowds ? I think the promotion do a good job on publicity but if the product isn't good people will try it once ... see 10 races that are finished off bend two of lap one and then for ever make the typical comment non speedway fans make. I do think the poor track of the last few years is contributing as much to the decline in attendances than the poor team building but if you are running on a track with "nothing on it" get riders to suit ... bring riders like Hall and from what I have seen on youtube Albin who like a blast around the outside is a waste of time , in fact with how the track has been I don't think Stead will get along with it very well !

He injects some cash as do the rest of us EVERY WEEK of the season ! If its not very good will he then inject the cash ? Small team budgets are a false economy , give Sheffield a team worth watching and using evidence from the recent past upto a 1000 may attend instead a third of that figure last season !

What future if its another season like this years ? 3 gamble signings is wrong IMO (if Albin signs) , they are not only gambles as far as next season goes ... they are gambles with the future of speedway in Sheffield !

I would have prefered a reply in English but ... you said a team of quality and named 3 riders ! Sean Wilson time about 800-1000 Shane Parker time with a poor racing track 500-600 Pepe Franc time with a poor track and team 300-400 What team do you support anyway WJM ? , cant be a Tiger if you are supporting this excuse for team building !
