Thought Jamrog would be a five but you are more clued up on the averages than I am but he was impressive in 3 races at Berwick coming from behind , don't rate Koppe and don't want him back personally. Yes would go with Greenwood in place of Wilson or Andre but I think Wilson is too low an average to miss on a 4 (if I have read the rules right) so would go with him over Andre as I think he could put 2 or 3 points on his starting average.

Some good points on how many times they rode together. My pick Stead Jamrog (on the back of Rickys meeting at Berwick) Birks Andre Roynon Wilson Albin If it fits.

5 of last seasons 2nd bottom team ?
-
Yes TTT Birko did have some spills and cant remember many being his fault , toss up between that one and the Tosser Smith(spit!)one at Birmingham for the worse ... do one Cory !
-
I take it you're connected to Damian then ? , look mate its just my opinion and I dont think he's going to be much different this season to what he was last ... ok maybe half a point better. Also where have I mentioned his machinery ?
-
Exactly , he is mid twenties not an up and comer ... a 3 , thats what he is and thats what he would finish next season on aswell !
-
What average did Koppe finish on last season ?
-
Koppe will have them busting a gut to buy season tickets , have they not learned anything from the last two years ? Pick a poor team and not a lot of people will turn up , its not rocket science !

He will be second string though and if the reserves are going to race each other twice I would imagine their other two will be againt second string riders. and they will learn what from that and who has the other two rides the reserves had last season ? -

The brit everytime ... but on merit , not just because he's cheap ! Neil wants to sell because he's losing money every week , Sheffield has been "for sale" for about 5 years now ! -

I would be happy as well if I was him ... with a couple of races against NL riders per meeting ! -

If the Premier league is such a good product why not have just one big league (increasing the amount of fixtures)and ditch the real people that are raping the sport of its cash the top riders ? People like just to pick one at random Kenny Bjjere must have been "earning" the entire gate money alone at Peterboro and I think after a few years the top riders would lower thier cash demands and come back on lower terms , I know quite a few speedway riders and apart from the top 5% no one is earning any cash out of Speedway and for the risks they run I am amazed any of them do it and we have a sport to watch ! For a sport that is based on averages for team building it is amazing how many times the richest win ! Also IMO if a youngster is good enough and has the cash to make his machines competative he will rise through the ranks like has always been the case , fast tracking to the Elite and ringfencing thier races will only impede any progress ... not speed it up IMO. -

Look at the experience Jake Knight had at Sheffield last season ... now he's lost to the sport ! -

Just glad to see Sheffield on the list , hope they keep Thursday racing as I cant make Sundays ... gutted for Peterboro fans , thought we were gonna be in the same boat for a while. This NL rider rule reminded me of Jake Knight at Sheffield last season who was brought to the PL before he was ready , quite competative in heat 2 and then 2 or 3 demoralizing zero's after ... got dropped and retired from the sport ! -
You dont like me do you ? If you dont have anything nice to say ... dont say anything at all !
-
Dave Hoggart I know you post on here , could you please end the speculation over wether Sheffield will be running next season regardless of finding a buyer or not ?
-
IMO Stead and Wells apart we need a good clearout of all the riders that have been part of the catastrophic last couple of seasons , I like Roynon but the lad is cursed with injuries ... get some new lads in like Tyson Nelson and Josh Grazonik(sp) and I know I'm contradicting myself here but I think if I read the rules properly that my mate Ben Wilson could come back on a 4 next season
-
I know the people Spin King is on about but I am not one of them. HT , not gloating about my close season comments I just didnt like the tone of some replies I recieved during the winter from certain people and I will stand by my comments about the team , its gonna be a short season without the correct changes made sharpish and even if changes are made can you trust the people in charge to make the correct ones ?
-
Well yes , it seems you are both wrong. Halifax , you see the riders mentioned trailing in poor 4th places like I do ... just not good enough . changes must be made or it will be another short season with financial woes and maybe the end of speedway at Sneffield !
-
I think you have me confused with someone else ???? , no one works for me I am an employee not an employer ... so thats three things you are WRONG about now ! "TWO INJURIES" ... and when have Sheffield done a meeting with two injuries this season ? Thats 4 things you are WRONG about now koppe , Haines and Albin are nowhere near good enough for the PL . Albin can do it as he proved in the 1st couple of home meetings but he's not doing it now , Haines has gone back to Scunthorpe form and should not have to be at reserve to score points at his age , Koppe ... Well I hope you agree with me about him , if not then god knows whats happening in your head ! As for Knight , he's had an awful lot of gift points and really needs to gate to bother the scorers but I feel he may be worth standing by for a while yet . The top three (when fit") cannot carry 4 riders , its as simple as that and we are paying 15 quid a week to watch 4 riders that are national league standard ... the only agenda I have is wanting to watch a competative team !
