I know a few riders socially and they view Brough Park as one to get out of the way (meaning they don't like going there), by having such a track I feel the Newcastle fans miss out on a lot of good racing that a good race track provides with riders turning up with that attitude. Just glad I dont have to watch there regular. Cue the throttle control gang

I would bet on Wilson and A Compton to get an heat advantage against Procter and Poole around Owlerton.8 times out of 10. You also miss my point on the younger riders mentioned as I feel the non EU riders over here hold up the development of such riders. No sympathy myself , Sheffield could have two riders within 30 miles of the stadium that are as good as the two Aussies in thier team ., no flights to pay for no accommodation to find etc ... -

Maybe so but I will never forgive him for what he did to Birkinshaw at Birnimgham ... and then walked past him laid on the track getting treatment and never asked if he was ok. -

Also he doesn't care who he takes off with him when he goes down , he's a danger to anyone on the track with him. -
What about the Brits trying to earn a living but can't cos of all the Aussies over here ?
-
Ok thanks. While partly agreeing with the principle it does dilute the quality of the sport.

How do you know its not a rumour , not being clever just looking for some confirmation on it.

He's got to maintain a 5 point average !

Hadn't rode a 500cc bike in a race before and gets a PL team place ???? Didn't take a genius to work out he wouldn't be up to it did it and the kid wont be cheap !
-
The comments after heat 8 are a worry , still what do I know ?
-
I had a go at cycle speedway as a kid , could have me as an asset if they want

Its unfair to keep bringing Wilson into this , how about Andre and if its the age thing you are on about Adam Ellis ? Sissis is not just rusty after a few years out ... he has never done it ! Ok he has done well as a kid in probably a similar standard to last years development league , its a gamble that in time may pay off but we are starting the season with effectivly 6 riders while one gets upto speed (if he ever does) also how fit is Poole ?
-
Didnt know you had to be , anyway he's got a lot to learn in the next few months.
-
Well we wil see in a few months . should have had a season in the NL IMO.
-
Not if you want to win. Hopefully Sissis makes use of the practice facilities at Scunny and Kings Lynn and gets up to pace.
-
Partly and Andre , both proven point scorers at Sheffield , would rather had Rich Hall and I dont like him than taken the gamble.
-
Why what have I said that is wrong ?
-
Not a good sign with Bates not being very good either.

http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/14101/australian-championship-gillman-sunday-december Not done very well has he , only beaten people making up the numbers like he is. Wouldn't say I am a knocker of his but his lack of experience on a 500cc is a concern.
