I am surprised Birmingham BMX took that long it's normally very well run when my son has ridden there. At Braintree last Sunday we did about 130 races in 2.5 hours, which is about right unless there are very big crashes. Please also remember it was free and run by volunteers (parents like me) plus the riders are unpaid. At least it wasn't 'dusted off'. Give it another try you may have just picked a bad day.

Hi does anyone know if there is a meeting on close to Warsaw on Sunday? I don't think there are league fixtures which is a shame but there was talk of a polish team match.

90 minutes and 8 races so far. Great crowd great stadium great weather but shambles of a meeting. They will be lucky to get half the crowd for the next time Such a shame for speedway

I might find a rental car from Berlin that we can take to Poland but if we dont I might come back to you and see if your seats are still free. I will certainly beware for hitch hikers! A couple of us are going to the Gorzow GP, we are staying in Berlin Friday, getting the train to gorzow for the GP and then staying in Gorzow Saturday night. We were hoping to go to one of the Polish elite league fixtures on the Sunday. There are ones in Wroclaw, Bydgoszcz, Gniezno, Rzeszow and Gora. I wondered if anyone could recommend one that would not be too hard to get to and give any tips on getting there. We could get the train, but on a Sunday most of the journeys look very long, or hire a car but I have heard some horror stories of driving in Poland. Any help or tips would be appreciated. Also if anyone knows times of these meetings and if it easy to get tickets I would appreciate it. We need to be back in Berlin on Monday and would probably get the train back Monday morning if there is a decent Polish town on Sunday to stay in. Many thanks in advance.
