When restrictions are lifted, gradually, over the next couple of months there will be concern about a 'second wave' that may come along later into the autumn. Surely they are not going to consider dismantling this operation for Rugby, let alone Speedway, until they are certain that the facility would not be needed for such an eventuality.

I see that the Principality Stadium is to be set up as a 'Nightingale Hospital' for 2000 patients ... Any pretence that the GP calendar will look anything like that still being envisaged by BSI seems fanciful.

Nor me. But it would seem just as likely that even that will be a little early: with all the prior organisation needed to get it set up.

A more sane decision than that being made by the FIM/BSI on the GPs.

Ultimately the league season will have to be written off as a whole. A few tracks that will be able to get up and running in the summer/autumn with only a limited fixture list and a very limited SGP in the autumn will be possible in certain countries. I dont expect any more than that.

Ok. Then I'll shout. Not a chance of getting under way by that early date.
