  1. Sorry sir, can't seem to find what your refering to
  2. Although I salute your pride for your club, let me respond in a adult manner. Swearing is not what is being discussed, I hear swearing at every sporting event, work day, walk home, work meeting and coming together with friends I ever taken part in. Frankly, swearing doesn't offend me. In regards to my topic I was not complaining about swearing, we all do it at some point to support our team, I was refering to a host of personal abuse that I revieved by a small group of mildenhall fans. These people were a push bike length behind me and yet they screamed threats and insults towards me and my associates. This is not simply swearing with a pint in your hand at the speedway, this is HOOLIGANISM at its very worst, and shouldn't be tolerated or defended by anybody. Including the co supporters of the offenders. By no means am I taring all mildenhall fans with one brush. Most of them are great, but to hint at the fact That all fen tiger fans are saints is a little over passionate if you ask me, same with any club in any sport. You will realise this when the same thing that happened to me happens to you, god forbid I hope it doesn't though
  3. I don't think 14 points is being greedy at all, Pickard, Sarg, Atkin, Webster and isherwood are all cable of 8+ points at home where they all arnt quite so strong at west row. Lambert is obviously going to score big. Reade is just Meh but its very mature of him to come back into the side after being replaced so big thumbs up to him. He will have a point to prove and will drive him to push that extra yard. I think stoke will win by 10-15 at least, all our top 5 can hit 4 ride maximums at the Chesterton circuit
  4. Ah, when i saw Cheshire in your name I had a inkling you were a fellow Crewey, Nice to hear from you sir. Yep, i constantly see young kids roam around Loomer road with their friends, same with many circuits to be fair. I'm too young to have children myself but if i ever do, I shall not be letting them leave my sight if these idiots or the like are about, home or away.
  5. Hi guys, new poster here, I know I'm a bit late and i do agree with the poster saying we should see it as speedway and move on, but I'm going to give you my pennies worth if you don't mind. I traveled down to Mildenhall for the first time on Sunday, and on the balance of things i had a great time, the club is ran very well and the majority of the fans are great people. But lets move to the "incident". From what i could see to put all the blame on 1 single rider for the crash is a bit over the top, i think Lambert probably could be the main culprit, but all 4 guys wanted to win the race, and all 4 pushed as hard as possible, and unfortunately (like very often in Speedway) it had a bad outcome. All 4 riders are OK, which is the main thing here lets not forget. What i saw afterwards wasn't very good at all, attempted gang assaults on a young rider by middle aged men, fans deliberately trying to damage riders equipment thus potentially distrupting their careers and attack mechanics and riders throguh the fencing. I never saw Sarj with a spanner, but if he did do this then I agree he should be punished, regardless of wehather he felt threatened or not. On a personal note behind me was a group of MFT fans, they wernt "chavs" but you could tell they wouldnt mind a bit of trouble. As Simon was walking back to the pits they were shouting and ballin at him, I looked back as you do to see who it was etc etc. Then (Having my Potters polo shirt on) i recieved a barrage of insults from these men, calling me all the offensive names under the sun. f*!$£ng this p$%!"ng that, calling my girlfriend rude names and words and to be honest I've never felt so threatened in my life. I moved away from these people and tried to avoid them for the rest of the night. It won't put me off coming back this sunday though, as i said most of the fans at mildenhall continued to discuss the situation with me throughout and one lady even told the men to "shut up, your a disgrace to the club". Which was nice. Good luck this weekend Mildenhall, I am looking forward to welcoming you all to loomer road on saturday . Warren
