  1. https://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/sport/more-sports/edinburgh-monarchs-pray-for-three-home-points-to-make-season-less-embarrassing-1-5003410 Praying for 3 points in a meaningless fixture. Scotland’s big club everybody hahaha
  2. It has nothing to do with anyone on here who pays it. Unless it is coming out of your pocket.
  3. it'll still be better than no speedway. How is Derwent Park looking? Glorious as ever??
  4. I can’t believe I have just wasted time reading this Big Boaby/Doctor discussion. This is exactly what should be kept to private messages. Any speedway chat would be great. The “i’m Telling the mods” stuff is chronic.
  5. A further blip on the portrait you paint of me. I have a more than capable mathematical brain. Math and numbers make the world go round. You didn’t ask any math based problems either so I am not sure why you would bring that up? It is not a hard question but you are trying to drive a binary answer to something that has many subjects out of people for your own pathetic agenda. It it is simple to say A = B or C if you choose to ignore X,Y and Z. The bigger(whole) picture/situation needs to be taken into consideration. As as for spelling, I would not go down that road. Next you’ll be employing the grammar police. They would have a field day with you. I choose not to go down that road.
  6. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Answer one question with one word on a discussion forum. You are a sad and pathetic old man. Get over your deal with Glasgow and go back under your rock.
  7. First things first I won’t do that. Your shoulder really can’t go far from your head. Again think of the mechanics instead of typing nonsense. I would suggest Craig was speaking/shouting at the said throbber with the red flag. When you see riders talk to each other with their helmets on they need to get close so the other as the helmet will muffle their voice and the engine would of been running. That is clear as day. I can only speculate as to why he went with a shoulder barge, a maniac jumped out in front of him! Why are people so keen to ignore this morons actions? Is it just to slaughter Craig?? A headbutt means hitting someone with your head as hard as your can with a view to hurt the other person. Craig certainly did NOT headbutt or mean to headbutt anyone. The actions from the hangers on down there was uncalled for. If the Tigers had done ANYTHING wrong it is up to the meeting officials to deal with the situation. Not a flag marshall, not a mechanic or any other clown that was on the track. Eastbourne speedway tried to take control of the situation and acted like thugs in doing so. The book should be thrown at them.
  8. Cook was heading to the pits until the unquantifiable unit of butter jumped out in front of him.
  9. Think of the mechanics of a headbutt. The head goes back before it goes forward. This gains leverage. Cook leads with his head to gain leverage for his shoulder. You can’t head butt anyone if your neck is already stretched out to the front. Live in the real world
  10. In no way does anyone from farm land down south come out well from the longer video. mission accomplished on a desperate way to qualify for the next round that is about it. keep rattling the banjos
  11. It has been fairly entertaining to be fair. All the experts giving their tuppence worth. All the haters hating. Must be the longest thread about a Glasgow match for a while with very little mention of the speedway to boot.
  12. Very interesting footage. People very prompt to slaughter Craig, even when they weren’t there and now this video proves that Craig was goaded into a reaction by a moron whose intelligence can only be compared to someone with a forum name similar to a popular 90’s game. As for the other Cumbrian thinking this video proves Craig guilt, wow. The tinted specs are strong with you.Hopefully the high horses can be dismounted from. Handbags at dawn.
  13. I take it this is a reply to my post? I would of loved to Driven at speed on a bike with no brakes, it was an ambition of mine as a youngster. I’ll answer the question I think you were trying to ask, I would not like to be driven at by someone on a bike with no brakes. However I would not be stupid enough to put myself in that position. You are wrong on both counts I have not yet reached 40 and I have a fairly mature head on my shoulders. I don’t have any kids so I don’t have any responsibility to shield anyone from anything. I am saying that kids are exposed to a lot more violence/blood/guts during their internet/gaming escapades than I was. The internet is ruining children’s childhoods. I don’t condone it but I am wise enough to realise what is happening in the world and nothing we can do will change it. i am in no way part of a cult, I have not been brainwashed by anyone. I merely appreciate my speedway team and everything that the owners have done for us. The same way you appreciated Laura before she buried your team. you should really take a day off of hating Glasgow and enjoy the sport from afar. Everyone wants to moan about our great sport even when people are investing in it. Your backward thinking country bumpkin views are chronic, all they do is show bitter jealousy towards Glasgow. I sorely miss my trips to Workington but there is a tiny(minute) bit of me that is happy that you don’t have any speedway to watch as you blatantly don’t deserve it
  14. Thank you for your reply. I don’t think anything from last night, apart from the final result, is black and white. Gutted I missed it.
  15. Great thread for what sounded like some entertaining events. I particularly like the current moral high ground that the “sport doesn’t need this sort of thing”. I would say these events engage and invigorate the fans. It creates an atmosphere at the track, this atmosphere is what riders should revel in. As for the people saying “there were children there”, have you seen what kids watch on YouTube and see in computer games? A fist fight/stramash is absolutely nothing to them. Children are maturing at an unbelievable rate, seeing and experiencing things a lot younger than when we grew up. People still talk about Lee Dicken chasing Pepe at Ashfield or on a slightly higher level, Boyce punching Gollob The world is going far to soft/PC. Lots of people on slaughtering Craig Cook here. I unfortunately wasn’t there. I have a couple of questions to those that were there. 1) Did Craig aim to run into a member of the track staff or was the member of track staff on the track? Surely his job is to wave a red flag in front of the rider and not encroach on the track? 2) What caused Claus to engage with the fans(I read this on the updates)? Thanks in advance
  16. More importantly, this fixture gives us a rare away double header.
  17. Some more changes coming I would imagine.
  18. Matthew Weathers is guesting for the Monarchs tonight
  19. I’ll agree with the original poster. Similar score to last night but reversed. Cook will probably get 6 rides. Be very interested to see how Claus goes. He surprised me at Newcastle
  20. I predict a similar home win like Glasgow last night.
  21. Thought I would come on here after a while as it is a slow Friday. Seems the same village idiots from Cumbria had a rush of blood to criticise Glasgow (again) with unfounded sweeping statements. Lots of mud slinging, then when the truth comes out, you would expect the decency of an apology. Alas, this is not the case, the haters (generally Worky fans) decide to find another angle to slaughter. The "what if" brigade, What if you never had a successful team last year? Your wage bill would of been down and maybe ran this year? The talk of boycotting Glasgow by one member was particularly laughable. If/when Worky come back to the sport, would you like the sizeable Glasgow support to boycott your stadium. absolute bonkers. Absolute nut jobs.
