Very true . You have missed that Leicester used Steve Worrall as their guest for Richie Worrall in the 2019 play off final away leg vs Glasgow -
Leicester Lions 2022 Line up

All will be revealed in time need to keep the winter interesting no point in releasing the 7 in one go & then its a long boring winter . Starting with early next week Plus it’s always good to read some of the rumours that come out right & wrong ones -
False information. There is no meeting at Leicester on this date. Press release will be made shortly
-
The meeting is ON Saturday. It was promoted last night at Leicester as a 7:30pm start. It is also on the BSPA & Leicester fixture list. Poole have obviously agreed to come & have no valid reason to not come. Non of their riders are in SON , non of their riders have commitments on the continent so should all be at Leicester Saturday .

Maybe but this season the insurance cut off in 31/10/21 unless the insurance company agree to an extension. -

Speedway is not allowed to run past 31st October because thats when all tracks & rider insurance expires so BSPA are not allowed to sanction official fixtures. -
I understand the costs of the ambulance & staff is more then £1000 per match. The ambulance has been coming from the west midlands for over 5 years now without any serious issues till yesterday , no local private ambulance is willing to provide an ambulance to speedway due to the high risks involved & the same company provide all the medical staff as-well as the ambulance.
-
Most local private ambulance services will not touch speedway with a barge pole due ti the high risks involved they are happy to do school fates , concerts etc . Mention 4 men on bikes doing 50mph+ without brakes they say thanks but no thank you it’s simply not worth the risks.
-
Even with 2 ambulances you would still only have 1 paramedic because thats what is required to run a meeting. Like tonight the paramedic was not the driver Usually private ambulances are driven by first aiders/ambulance drivers which are not qualified to treat like a paramedic.
-
In an ideal world a 2nd ambulance would be a great idea . But it simply costs far too much. Having 2nd ambulances at meetings with simply cause a price increase to supporters to cover the extra costs incurred for an ambulance that would be used/needed once every few years. But even with a 2nd ambulance tonight’s meeting would have still been postponed because the paramedic would still have been in the broken down ambulance.
-
Just to be clear on a few things . The ambulance comes from the West Midlands & broke down on the M1 en route to the stadium .They called the RAC who took 45 minutes to attend which is why there was an update at 7:30pm. When we made contact with the driver at 7:30pm the RAC had just arrived & was taking a look under the bonnet so it was pushed back to 7:45pm to give them time. After an inspection the RAC driver declared the ambulance could not be fixed tonight which is when the meeting was abandoned to be restaged on Tuesday 12th October 7:30pm. This sort of thing is completely out of the control of Leicester Speedway. Without a working ambulance & paramedic a meeting can not start. A few people suggested getting an NHS ambulance ? As seen last night at Edinburgh you can’t get an NHS ambulance to attend serious injuries let alone an event where there “might” be an emergency.

Is it the announcer or the PA system ? -
Based on the starting line ups 1st Belle Vue ( KM: Drodz ) 2nd Poole ( KM: Sundstrom) 3rd Leicester (KM: Pieszczek) 4th Somerset (KM: W- Dean) 5th Rye House(KM:Kasprzak) 6th Wolves (KM: Heeps) 7th Swindon (KM: Bellego) 8th King Lynn (KM: Proctor) The key men that i have picked are riders who i think are vital to the teams success not the best riders but the one’s who will need to step upto the plate. 1st sacking of the season : Mitchell Davy (Swindon) I iust feel this is maybe 1 step too far for Mitchell & Rosco will look bring in a stronger rider or a NL rider who is in form once some other riders averages drop.
