  1. He's not interested in 'intellectual debating' anyway. His whole reply to my point, which ironicly he's struggled to understand after telling other people to read, was based around Stead, Allen and calling me an idiot.
  2. I've already suggested 2 riders who have acheived more than Tai in the last 2 years 'me old china.' I've made decent points suggesting plenty of riders have achieved what Tai has, without rubbishing Tais season. You on the other hand choose to insult me and ignore any reasoned argument put forward for Tais season not being as great as you wish to make out. This season for example, Pavlic achieved and 8 point EL average, got himself a medal in the world under 21's and reached the final of the world championship qualifier. Although, yet again, you'll probably choose to ignore examples of riders that have achieved more than Woffy has in 1 season. Woffy has had a great season, I've never doubted that. My issue was with your initial post suggesting that few riders have ever done what Woffinden has, when they clearly have.
  3. Tai didn't ride at Coventry so we don't know how he would have performed against our track specialists. Also. we're not claiming that Oli Allen and Simon Stead have acheived more than nearly every other rider ever in 1 season so perhaps you shouldn't brand others idiots without being able to conduct a coherent argument with us. Woffinden is a great prospect, yes, but your original post claiming very few have acheived what Woffinden has in 1 season is complete rubbish.
  4. To be honest that's really nothing to write home about. As 21st CH, SCB and others will mention, I really don't rate him. At all. Not at all. I'd just like to know what he's apparently acheived in this one season? A decent PL average, the PLRC and a ride in the SWC? Saifuditnov acheived the world under 21 world championship and a world cup performance last season with good averages in the Swedsh and Polish leagues too, and the same again this season. Holder didn't win the PLRC but has acheived an 8 point EL average in 1 season and that's just 2 riders who have done the business in the last couple of years. Not many though, eh?
  5. So, what has Woffinden acheived? The PLRC? Yeah, not many who could claim to acheiving that in a season, only 1 a year
  6. Sub will probably disagree but I think the Gollob exclusion was right. At Bydgoszcz, he can get away with that move to an extent with riders not relying on their leg for entering the turns. Taking Crumps leg going into the turn at Lonigo completely unbalanced him. Wasn't even as if it was a small amount of contact as Gollob must have hit him at quite some speed. Whether the ref was right or wrong, there's no doubt in my mind that Crump DIDN'T put the bike down. Pedersen said at Bydgoszcz in 07 that if it had been anywhere else other than Bydgoszcz he'd have put the bike down, then claims that Crump has put the bike down and condemns it?? It amazes me that Dryml continues to act in such a way after his own big crashes, and after Ales' huge one at Oxford. You would think he'd have a bit more respect for others riders on track in all honesty. An excellent ride from Nicholls to first avoid the fence after he was nearly dumped in it at the end of lap 3, then to pull a superb first and second bend out the back to repass KK before a top draw last bend to cut under Dryml when Dryml clearly aimed for him coming off the 4th turn. Definitely the right result in the end.
  7. Gutted for Crumpy. Feel SO sorry for him. Battled so hard all night and that's how lady luck chooses to repay him?
  8. Last time Gollob did that was Prague 07 where he was frankly embarrassing. Since then he's realised how much he wants the GP's and is a model pro.
  9. The series finale in Australia? Seriously? After the last flop?
  10. Christ, I thought my evening couldn't get anymore dull with those qualifiers but it just has. Give it a rest.
  11. Load of rubbish. Absolute crap additions to the GP> Possibly the 3 most dull speedway riders, after Bjarne Pedersen, around at the moment. Yawn.
  12. Can someone post the top scorers after every few heats? Cheers.
  13. He often does, he was perfectly happy supporting Belle Vue on bank holiday Monday
  14. 2 wrongs don't make a right. Well done to the ref for sticking to the rules.
  15. Stunning from Crumpy in the final. Great 1st/2nd bend and backstraight for a fully deserved win in the final. An on form Crumpy is a joy to watch - superb Wasn't an awful GP, except for the farce of Nicholls and Iversens crashes.
  16. That's better. Consistant again and the outside has some useable dirt again
  17. I don't think this is acceptable. If the track is deemed to be unfit now and needs changing, then surely it's been unfit for the 2 that have fallen off. Barmy. And Sam Ermolenkos comments 'they need more practise' - he'd be on his bloody arse if there was nothing wrong with the track whatsoever.
  18. This track is an absolute farce. The white line is full of ruts and there is NOTHING out wide to hold you up. Riders should refuse to ride. Pinicle of the sport? My Arse!
  19. Crump came back down on Andersen when Andersen was right on the white line. Correct decision. Anyone know who the oldest rider in the field is?
  20. Rico could well qualify yet if he's in the mood on the day. It's a track he knows well, but sadly, Walaseks even more likely to capitalise on his track knowledge.
