I personally think Lee Richardson is an extremely good rider. He has been plagued with machinary problems this season and is beggining to overcome them. No-one can knock his effort for team GB over the past week and surely not the work he puts into riding for Sw****n week in week out as well. As for the love him/hate him debate - gotta be on the love side (how gay did that sound?! ) I personally have never seen the guy put in less than 100% - certainly for team GB. This season he has been not makin g as many starts as before but is passing a lot lot more now. (remember the Nicki move in Cardiff ? And I wonder how many people slating him on here now, were cheering him at that moment ) Give the guy a break.

I cannot see us winning to be honest, as much as I want us 2. We can't beat the Poles/Norwegians. I like to think we can beat Denmark and maybe push Sweden but I can't see us getting near the Poles.

IMO keep Steady, if Loram is deffinately fit and ready to ride then bring him in for Joe. I don't think it's fair at all to kick steady out after he rushes back from his holiday to score the same amount of points as Scott Nicholls.

With the form Steady is in at the moment, I dom't think this has weekend us at all. Even though IMO the best line up to have would been scotty, lee, loram, bomber and stead.

I don't think that really we are that greater match for the danes. realistically, it should be denmark straight through with us second. The fight for 3rd place could be interesting, as the drymls and topinka are in good form, the same goes with Darkin and Gafurov is something special so I think it could go either way.

I wouldn't say there has been any bad picks as wild cards, except maybe Holta for Sweden. Everyone has been the in-form riders at the time, except Norris, Loram clearly wasn't fit and at the time, Norris' injury didn't seemn to be causing as much problem. Zagar was a great pick of course but there wasn't really another option. Now, Lindgren should be the pick for the scandanavian really, Pepe for Bydgoscz and I am hoping Zagar for italy, as much as seeing the old boy race again, he isn't going to fare well against the top class oposition.

My predicition for the top 4 is pedersen, andersen, jonsson and rickardsson Iversen to make semis.
