Speedway of Nations 2024
secsy1 replied to a4poster's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
As quoted on Belle Vue website for tickets, £85 What an absolute joke You reap what you sow the FIM and Belle Vue Speedway are responsible for out pricing the event and will make a significant financial loss and it is well deserved for the -
Speedway of Nations 2024

So practise is off Why is no one looking at the forecast for the rest of the day, waiting for divine intervention So many meetings called due to impending weather 2 days in advance ! No news about the biggest meeting this year at The National Speedway Stadium and no doubt when its too late for travellers -
The forecast today is horrendous. Knowing the past and organisers history, should it be called off early today to avoid a catastrophe?

Rain forecast in Manchester today is very bad. Will the Organisers have the courage to call it early and stop and avoid the debacle it will be if run? -
Live greyhound racing from Swindon on Sky Sports Live now. Thought all sporting events had stopped?
-
Wow you are unbelievable Just remember all the clowns who ran and run the sport stick together with their narrow minded self righteous attitudes and beliefs
-
Lets face it the costs now are unsustainable for anyone without substantial backing to break through. Over the last 10 years the Youth system has slowly destroyed any future for the sport.

So going to Burnley for £45 for 90 minutes equates to 50p/minute of entertainment (Possibly) Going to Co-op Arena for £80.50 for 120 minutes equates to 67p/minute of entertainment (Maybe) Food/drink not required, your previous post. Go to Belle Vue £24 South Stand for 15 minutes racing supplemented by tractor grading 9 minutes equates to £1/minute entertainment (That is being generous) Basically why do your shopping at Waitrose or Sainsburys when Lidl and Aldi offer cheaper and better alternatives?
-
Are you gas lighting? I can do what ever I want and educate or try to, people who run the sport how to do something about it to put it right Not like oneself, who assumes all is well in the world of speedway

Some of you people are beyond control and belief, living in a surreal world. Stopped watching after debacle with Colts and Lion Cubs in first NJL match of season. Have seen so many posts about how bad its been at NSS and all self inflicted. But all you numpties just accept it and roll over, well jolly good for you. Crack on Most North West Counties League teams charge around £10 and with proper footballers, not your Premier League prima donnas

Perfect planning, boycott the meeting and don't bother watching at all. Quids in to spend on something meaningful

It will only get worse as the clueless are in charge. Marginalising supporters and taunting them about ticket prices and needing supporters to support a venture that could be in financial jeopardy. Where was the initial business plan for SON? Was their ever one? Who can afford to go to every League, Cup, Colts and SON. £61 for a family tomorrow, Food £27.90 for Adult dining and £11.90 for Children........ Total of £100.80 This equates to £6.72/minutes racing..................If you include the tractor racing of 30 minutes/meeting, how does this look to any new/potential speedway supporter. Businesses fail due to bad planning and management, fact. Forget about it being on TV, make it cheaper/freebies to school kids on the night to attract newbies and actually get it out their so people know speedway exists in Manchester still.

With the apathy shown by the British Speedway Supporters, just thought I would give the Women a well deserved mention. Well done Rachel and Katie, superb effort.

Birmingham v Ipswich KOC June 3rd
secsy1 replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Funny how Schliem commented that the rubber on the inside would prove better for grip and nothing on the outside. How can this clown, steal a living knowing nothing about speedway -
Northern Junior League 2024
secsy1 replied to edmon's topic in Youth Speedway and Development Leagues
Taking into consideration the young lad is only 15 and if he has suffered any form of injury, surely the assailant is guilty of assaulting/abusing a minor? -
From SCB Website Due to this Breach Mr Complin SCB Registration has been suspended with immediate effect for a period of 30 days as of the 12th April 2024 pending a SCB Disciplinary Court Hearing So the disciplinary should have been heard by now? But nothing on SCB website about it!

So 90% on here believe once a criminal always one. Well lets criminalize all the boat people. They are all criminals, trying to enter our country illegally period. What happens, we open our arms and pay them to stay and in 5 star hotels. Then rape, torture and pillage. Spend a few months in prison, come out and kill innocent people. Categorisation with Jason Garrity crime?

Why not get along on Sunday to see Cradley v Hastings Should be a great meeting And why not

Let`s put thing in to context here. Most of the above named riders were alleged products of the Youth System. Due to the Youth System Palin suffered injuries and retired, he was progressing nicely until the Youth system swallowed him. The Thompson Twins separated from the system and are doing very nicely. Others currently entwined in the system are not progressing, wonder why. Ex riders in it for the money and offering nothing to the boys. Back to basics and stop interfering in their development by money hungry has been and never were good riders and poor system.

The sport which has the most offers and offers them continuing employment is football. Yet every week people pay to watch rapists, drug cheats, wife beaters who steal a living through the sport.

Northern Junior League 2024

What is the point in The British Speedway Website publishing the fixtures of the NJL and squad selections and then no results? Shame on your attempts move forward and actually help promote the youngsters.
