  1. Will anyone be going, bad forecast for rain from 4 till 9 again. is this fixture to be doomed again?
  2. Should be postponed early due to weather and not a fiasco like Lynn yesterday. Anyone looking at the weather anywhere today knows the outcome now.
  3. Why is Klindt reserve for Leicester, thought the riders at reserve were British?
  4. Tai Woffenden and Robert Lambert didn't go! Remember who else didn't go? Will they be picked? Cracking piece in this weeks Speedway Star, stating Robert could not afford it but Steady was on expenses with kids at MACON! The Speedway Star states `his inexperience on the Belle Vue circuit compared to the likes of Scott Nicolls and Craig Cook may see him overlooked`. Pray tell who at present has any experience at the `NEW BELLE VUE` and if they have any well why wasn't a TRAINING CAMP HELD THEIR AS OPPOSED TO CROATIA? Speaks volumes for BRITISH SPEEDWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. So how many of the boys actually learned something at the weekend that they didn't know? It was an expensive few days for parents to watch a few trainers test bikes of their own and show little regard for the lads. If this upsets the powers that be then so be it but reality sucks.
  6. Oh dear, just the typical response and example of a keyboard warrior/troll. Read and read again my post, oh well it actually says they race because they enjoy it. Doesn't it! It also says a lot more, but unless its explained and broken down like explaining to a child its too hard to comprehend. If you have a steak and don't enjoy it or throw it up, yes complain. But 2 months later are you still on the back of whoever served, cooked it? Well probably yes you are, but maybe it was your body saying something to you. Had enough of people who respond with I know everything and better. Only have to look how many posts you have made to see how worked up and fed up with other people you get. 7. One thing that never surprises me is the amount of criticism that riders suffer. Mainly from those who have never ridden a speedway bike. Let the riders get on with it and encourage them, the last thing any sportsman/woman wants is some idiot spouting how bad they are. They are participating to entertain you, enjoy themselves and possibly attain a decent level with money to boot! Leave the lads alone and let the talking come from this years performances. Good luck to all the Kent Riders in 2016 and hope you make all your supporters eat there words of criticism.
  8. Promotion is the act of encouraging something to happen or develop. Promoters are supposed to help forward or encourage (enterprise or result); publicize and sell (product); initiate (project). In the Speedway Star several articles have been printed regarding the lack of support for teams up and down the country and also several letters published that state no local publicity has been made regarding meetings or events at tracks. Preaching to the converted is witnessed in churches up and down the country every Sunday, where attendances have dwindled also. Until heads are taken out of the sand by the ones who run the sport nothing will happen. Changing the rules year in and year out will not resolve issues. Making a change in League structure and race days, will help in short term with personal finances for the converted. EMPHASIS must be made by every club to get out into their communities and PROMOTE the clubs. NEW, YOUNG, ENERGETIC AND ENTHUSIASTIC SUPPORTERS ARE REQUIRED FOR NEXT SEASON. TO ACHIEVE THIS IT BEGINS AT THE END OF THIS SEASON.

  10. Probably more down to the Goose that paid with golden eggs has become barren and now needs culling!
  11. The main winners tonight are the RIDERS who took a punt at the BOOKIES. They know what they did and wasn't pretty or good for the sport. Used to think promoters were killing the sport but after tonight,, well????
  12. Goy a original Crystal Palace programme which I bought for £125 eight years ago if anyone interested

  14. Absolutely fantastic meeting from the neutrals point. Sheffield started like a house on fire but quickly burnt out. Does not matter about the petty squabbling, get on with it on 27 September and maybe if Sheffield want it as much as Peterborough did last night, then game on.
  15. Think you will find that progress achieved by any rider is down to one significant factor............Money. The equipment used by the successful riders mentioned on the previous posts is reflection on there success. Other riders mentioned do not have the same amounts of cash to throw at the sport.
  16. Living beyond your means, unfortunately too many don't realise you have to have it before you spend it. Quite reckless if you have children!!!!!
  17. With a lot of people complaining about same old venue`s and promoters lining their pockets by granting themselves the big meeting, lets have a rotating country wide effort to attract and if possible at times regionalise finals for ease of supporters purses. Maybe I have missed a track or event but only a idea. Fixtures 2016 April. U21 Qualifiers at Eastbourne and Plymouth. Final at Rye House. May. British Final Qualifiers at Kent on a Monday, Poole on a Wednesday. June. SWC Qualifier at NSS Belle Vue. Premier League Fours at Berwick. British Final Sheffield. July. Premier League Pairs at Peterborough. National League Fours at Somerset. Aug. U19 Championship at Ipswich. National League Pairs at Scunthorpe. Sep. Elite League Riders Championship at Wolverhampton. Premier League Riders Championship at Glasgow. National League Riders Championship at Ipswich. Fixtures 2016 April. U21 Qualifiers at Edinburgh and Berwick. Final at Glasgow. May. British Final Qualifiers at Lakeside and Leicester June. SWC Qualifier at NSS Belle Vue. Premier League Fours at Redcar. British Final Ipswich. July. Premier League Pairs at Newcastle. National League Fours at Stoke. Aug. U19 Championship at Mildenhall. National League Pairs at Rye House. Sep. Elite League Riders Championship at Swindon. Premier League Riders Championship at Ipswich. National League Riders Championship at Scunthorpe.
  18. Once again the Farcical World Of Speedway is shown to the world. Too much talking and not enough correct actions. The cover situation is beyond compare and to try put a blade that spread the slime more as remove it was even far more unbelievable. Yes everyone knows the weather was in control, but come on it wasn't rocket science required by the authority's to make a early call or leave the covers on.
  19. Tonight's Speedway World Cup is again after only a few Heats in controversy by poor Refereeing. Lindback not excluded, then the Russian who was clearly impeded excluded. Think I will have to stop watching again as its as bad as a FIFA debacle
  20. The incompetent SCB official running the meeting had no concern at all for riders safety.. even stating it was unfair to blame him if an accident occurred when stating the meeting should continue. All he was interested in was getting to Heat 10. Don't blame Poole or Coventry with people like this in charge officiating.
  21. The Officials are to be held responsible for this farce, no accountability!
  22. Who was that SCB Official Joker in the pits saying it was unfair on him?
  23. If a team doesn't exist surely they must not be riding and have no riders, but they did and do.
  24. Please can anyone let me know which riders have Welsh, Scottish or even English Passports? If any do then please lets have individual teams, otherwise leave it alone and get on with it as Great Britain. As for England, we must be the most un patriotic country that exists, unlike the Irish, Scottish and Welsh who fervently celebrate their National Days.
