That year has gone! Eight months ago no one no one predicted Tai had a prayer. Now Tai is the man to beat, a different pressure i believe in Ward,s ability always will with Holder and Emil they all have ta chance. -
Scunny fans who do you think will be the No 1 ? this year i think Auty will be average about 8.80? Douglas could he add two points to his average? This side looks the side to beat for me well done to Rob Godfrey he has put together an exciting team on there travels they will be great value i will certainly go to Somerset to watch them.

I just wish Parsloes or Chunky had millions to get the Stadium up and running again as i know both of them loved Wimbledon i certainly did.Hackney also on a Friday night was a great night out i remember a vintage Thommo coming from the back there he was certainly one of the most exciting riders i have ever seen great bloke as well.

He has done it over one year only, can he deliver say over the next ten years?.As you have said he has done it he is in the roll of honour history books a great achievement Tai has a different challenge now he is the man to be shot at the man to beat.He is a great flag bearer for the sport good with the media and will be a breath of fresh air for the sport.Defending the WC and winning more titles is so hard to do, i am really am looking forward to seeing how he copes with the challenge. Jessup did not have mega ability! he was a world class rider no doubt about that but there were other English riders in that era that were as good if not better than Jessup. -
Really surprising Gustix'' that Briggs learned his craft at the small Wimbledon and New Cross venues,as his reputation and standing on the big tracks was outstanding. His record at the big Abbey stadium and the big pacey Hyde Rd ( 6 BLRC) was awesome but he did say he crashed alot at Wimbledon but this spell must have acted as his apprenticeship.Wimbledon when i have been there, there was something SPECIAL about the place when you got there it looked so professional had nice viewing facilities and the track when prepared was smooth and i have seen some excellent racing there ie) Spring Classic.

Whoever gets it Nick i wish them the best of luck, they might need it.! I just hope there is a longterm vision, look at it say over a ten year period don't look to much into the short term results.Look at the Germany national football team after the 1.5 defeat at home to England they totally reinvented themselves took the short term hurt .Now they have a squad full of quality,of an average age of 26, players from the under 18s and 21s coming through. Our GB side for the future should look to get plenty of test matches in on what about a tour in Australia? get the experience into these young lads we have the likes of Lambert,Ellis, with potential.Have a plan have conviction in what we are doing and dont worry to much about the results will we do that though?i have my doubts.
-
The frying pan moose! i thought that was Crayford ? i went there only once when Paul Woods was the star was New Cross that small? moose.!
-
You are right Nick not an easy decision, i respect your opinion what would yours be?
-
How long has he been around? i am not a Rosco fan but they're is no comparison in cvs between Rsssiter and Morris.

Bit sad Colin don't you think? i am not saying you have to agree far from it but you would have to be Stevie Wonder not to think Ward has mega ability.! I thinkI if Ward gets his act together it is up to him he has everything in his hands we will see. -
He should get it i believe , not saying i am a massive fan of his but no way Morris should get it he has not earned his dues in my opinion and he is Welsh.!

2014. 1.Ward. 2.Iversen. 3.Sayfutdinov, with Holder,Woffinden, Hampel all in the mix and all having a chance of being WC. If Ward and his team can sit down have a gameplan he can win it.If prepared he should reach the semi,s in most GPs minimum i believe, but he just has to except that at times he just has to take the points not override and move on to the next round.Does anyone else believe anyone else outside those six riders can win it ?. If Ward stays injury free has a plan and sticks to it this year could be his year and IF and it is a big IF if he wins his first title that could push him on to win other world championships this year should be an exciting one. -
So i am a idiot for having an opinion,so are all the Poole fans is that right.?Read your drivel again god how arrogant are you? Woffinden had a great year good on him and he will do so again this year. But you make out that speedway is an easy sport,it is not this year it is a clean slate all to play for. They,re are a pack of riders all capable of winning the WC,and anyone with half a brain? would know history tells you retaining the title is a very hard thing to do.
-
I am not bleating just my opinion is that ok with you ? I am a Swindon fan so i am pretty impartial, those riders i named are at least on par with Tai and if i was being honest i rate all of them higher than Woffinden. But Tai rode great all year and deserved his title but he still has a lot of hard work ahead of him.
-
New season last year has gone, Holder will be a force for a number of years for me Woffinden has it to prove again can he keep the same level of performances. If he can't they're are a few who will overtake him, i know he is world champion and he deserved it but i don't think he is the best rider in the world i would put Emil, Ward,Holder,(fit) NKI at least on par.The difference is that Tai has done it, they can never take it away from him but retaining it the pressure is immense will be interesting to see how he handles it.
-
Second once and also third in the GP,not to bad a great rider i was lucky to see him everyweek. For me Leigh and Sigalos were the two that i believed could of won it were well capable but as you say Colin endless others would say the same.It might sound insane but i believe Adams was a better rider than Nicki Pedersen maybe it is that killer instinct i don't know but Adams is in the top 20 odd riders that i have ever seen. He was robbed when NIelsen got away with murder.!

Biggest Improver 2014

Rosen, Douglas, R.Jensen, Auty, Ellis, all to up there averages. -
I am a massive Ward fan the best talent i have seen since Lee ( not as good as MIke!) but don't underestimate NKI the last three seasons he has been outstanding. For Darcy to win a title i believe he has to improve his gating at world level.
-
Second that, went for the first time in 74/ 75 in the Mauger/Autrey era how exciting it was so fast felt part of everything.Went to there last ever meeting, think Adams won the final? Mauger had a blast and Scott Autrey made an appearance which was great such a shame it has gone now.
-
The thing is ER does Pawlicki take Britain that seriously? does he always have decent kit over here ? i have my doubts.Just extra revenue for him i would not even pay attention to his EL average.
-
Both Pawlicki brothers are super talents, Piotr is the more exciting but they both have the ability to go far.I do rate Morris but for me he is quite a bit behind both the brothers and the likes of Dudek (ect) time will tell i suppose.
-
If Pawlicki can commit to fixtures it has to be good, he is a level or two up on Morris at the moment a GP rider ability wise for me.We will have to change the shape of the side ER to accomadate him wouldn't we? no matter we have already let BIrks down so that won't be difficult. You are joking ER?
