I am really looking forward to it can't see anything but an away win.Ward will be his usual box office, Magic at his best can compete with anybody Shamek i have not seen live since he scored 12(from 5) ( four wins) in 2011 at the Abbey what a talent he is the Czech Milik looks a steal on his average.I really hope Ritchings gives a good account of himself following in the footsteps of Crash,Killer,Keener, Broady,Wellie and Dukey great to have a local lad in the team good luck to Daryl CREMORNE don't forget to put your suit and dickie bow tie on.!! -

Does anyone know if the pits will be open for half hour 6.30 until 07.00 like last year so the fans can have a look or is this going to be stopped?. And don't go to those ghastly bogs either. -
What Are People's Hopes For The New Season.?
stratton replied to stratton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Cant agree with that JJ i totally agree with the coombdog a disgrace that all have been denied a chance as they are all good anough for the EL.JJ have a look in Auty,s first year at Brum he put well over 1.5 points on his average.Ok last year was disappointing for Josh but if you look in both seasons he did ok in the top 5 i was more disappointed in him when he was at reserve but in the overall shape of the Brum team he still chipped in with points.Adam what can you say bloody unlucky, thats it but he has rebuilt before i hope he gets his confidence and he has the ability.Ashley i liked him last year he struggled at the abbey mainly through lack of meetings but away at times he really impressed me.And Ash has done brilliantly well to come back as quickly as this it shows how fit he must of been slowly slowly for him but i think he will be ok in time i really hope so i enjoyed watching him for Swindon last year.It is great for these draft riders to get a chance and i hope it works out for them but Auty,Roynon,Birks have been badly let down in my opinion. -

A rule that has good intentions (suits certain parties) that has not been properly thought out.I didn't realise with the amount of comments made on here how many people think crowds could go down because of it.If say you had one reserve a Brit at the level of Kerr, Garrity,Ellis, Lambert,(ect) it could of worked having two is pushing it a bit we shall see. -

I do agree the rule is a poor one, but i don't believe that rule alone will have an affect on crowds.i think in World Cup year it is going to be a challenging one for the sport i just hope at Swindon we come through it and the sport also as a whole. -
It was hardly rocket science eh! Arson every man and his dog knew he was talented makes you laugh Arson hardly unearthed eh.!

What Are People's Hopes For The New Season.?

Great point, whatever league you are in it has to be HEALTHY to believe everyone is on a even playing field and we all have a chance.Last year Birmingham were a great example kept the same 1/7 all year failed but even this year the team had to be dismantled a shame really i love CONTINUITY when possible the fans identify with this. I do want Brits to get on more than anyone the biggest disgrace is the EL and PL don't agree which I think is a crying shame.Anyway going back to your draft reserves point you are a supporter i hope you have faith and keep the same 6 and 7 all year? at Poole.? -
With the new season already started what are people's hopes for the sport, there own team and on the individual front.? I hope the NL draft riders work ( i don't agree with it ) but i really hope it works and the likes of Ellis push on.I believe he can push on in the PL and he will easily hold his own in the EL also fingers crossed for Lambert he could be anything. My main hope is to see decent racing i am not bothered about how Swindon do winning is not everything in my book as long as i enjoy the racing. On the individual front Niels or Darcy for the title they are my two against the field ,anyway hope everybody has a good year and enjoy there racing.

Thanks for that "Tnunami". Rosen will be a top ten rider in the Pl i believe i have a friend who lives in Whitley Bay so i want to make the effort and give Brough another visit be great if i make it.

Thanks for that great footage, really showed speedway in a great light exciting i can't wait for the first meeting at Swindon the pole at reserve looked very useful indeed. -
How is the track looking "Tsunami ? i have only been to Brough twice the last time in the BL year and the track was superb.I always thought Brough looked a tough track to master anyway how do you think Rosen will do? he could have a big year i feel.

Good luck to James, i hope he enjoys it, does what he thinks is right for himself because before he was an excellent racer a very good rider gave his all did his best thats all anyone can ask for. -

Worlds Top Riders Coming Back To The Uk.......
stratton replied to TesarRacing's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
WK i loved the individual having they're own identity, Booey, Cowland,Major (ect) it does not bother me to much now they're are more important thing's they need to address.I would say though after Jason Crump suffered those horrendous burns are the Kevlars thick anough? they do look flimsy. -
Worlds Top Riders Coming Back To The Uk.......
stratton replied to TesarRacing's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I always preferred league racing was never a mega fan of individual meetings even though i see quite a few.But if i was an outsider looking in the GP series does look a excellent and professional product not like the days of a rider having a fag in the pits black leathers (ect) .WIth the rules as they are and the sport not being strong and UTD,that is the frustrating thing it could be so much better the potential is there but in my memory the sport has always managed to shoot itself in the foot.
