  1. You need to take a deep breath, for me it does not bother me who you are i could not give a monkeys you do post some decent stuff sometimes but people on here will exspose you.
  2. Jacques are you KKS? only joking no you are right not rocket science to find out where SSM is.I hope he proves he is not a FRAUD,can he tell us where the burger van is?
  3. Salty what was his brother Ulf like at the Heath?he was the 1972 Norwegian champion i only see him for Oxford he did look more than usefull not in Dag's class of course.
  4. How far is it from Blunsdon? and tell me where the burger van is?
  5. I remember when Simmo and Lee got robbed in the pairs in vojens absolute robbery.Zancarz certainly beat Nielsen but the homers got the decision i watched it again today Simmo must have been a dream to ride with he could ride tight or the outside always in total control.
  6. Could be close Rob,Zagar has to be better than his recent visits Cook will do ok Charlie Wright the key for me a close home win i think just.
  7. I am a Stratton st Margaret man can you tell me where that is? prove to me you are a Wiltshire boy.?
  8. Oh sorry "city" how was Dag around that venue? i only went in there championship year and for individual meeting's World team cups and Berger Grand Prix meetings.
  9. A very hard match to predict, Auty and Dryml are the key to this meeting i believe my hunch is a narrow Scunny win.
  10. Spot on "Grachan" the Keeno meeting was in 1975,in a way Dag,s career reminded me so much like that of Scott Autrey. How there careers went one bad move and just could not get there level back as we know both were world class in Scott's case he could of been WC.
  11. But "City he only averaged 7.76 a really low average for him he had averaged over 10 for Reading,Hackney, and Oxford.I can remember seeing Dag in the Mike Keen meeting and in the 1974 European Final at Wembley when he qualified.
  12. On the pace he has done great,if anything that average is false, he has ridden well did he lose a month? What i like about him is he looks like he is not fazed by reputations really focused i just wish he could of got a wild card for the British final. Not to worry he will be around for along time he will make his mark my one hope is he does not override to prove himself and get hurt a great prospect.
  13. A very good rider, was outstanding for Hackney even challenged for the golden helmet reached 1 world final in 74.He was decent for Oxford but if i can remember rightly never liked the White City track never suited him.
  14. Total cookoo land,Poole are doing ok we all know that the changes you mentioned are total fantasy ?.Maybe one change i am not so sure, where as for THJ he is a glorified good second string no more than that.
  15. Imaginary new stadium ? a big statement Matt i have heard the same stuff and if i am honest i am worried to bigtime.
  16. . A great post GR, Lynn are a side i have always admired since the Bettsy,Lee, era a club that was always run well has a great racing strip and do thing's in the right way.If they win the league that would be great if not so what! still a season of progress and something to build on.Two other points are PUK and the younger riders,Puk since being at Lynn has gone up three gears this i believe is because he feels wanted and he really enjoys his racing the fans love him there. It would be great if he could win a WC,what a great ambassador he would be for the sport. Now the young riders in my memory(it is going a bit) they have always tried to encourage the young uns not all have worked but the likes of Sparshott,Wordingham,Featherby(bless him RIP),Mallett,Morton, and endless others were given a chance. So it is great that they have Rose,Lambert,Kerr, who all have bright futures ahead of them hopefully all of them with the Lynn.
  17. Are you in dreamland? Jonasson in why? he is a underachiever he is expensive as well.In for JG not a chance, Milik is a guy with alot of ability it also would be madness to let him go.
  18. Those three at Lynn for me were not a huge risk, Porsing showed ability last year Kerr who has made huge strides and is beating riders i exspect him to beat Lambert well he could be anything no huge risk for me.
  19. HIs racing style was superb, maybe only Simmo and Adams come close on that front. As for Gary i only see him ride three times and i can remember it in 75 also i still have the speedway star with Gary on the front RIP both.
  20. i thought business,he was offered good money a few times but relented and never changed his mind. You are right the league was tough also a huge variations of tracks then very tough competition.
  21. Never to be forgotten,a world champion in the making no doubts the sport was robbed.
  22. In 1980 Lee was just coming off those back injuries at the NEC so that made it look like DJ was dominant. For me he was a very good rider indeed, but not in the same league as PC, Lee,and Simmo for me anyway. Was he good anough? maybe he was but when i look at Gollob( only 1 title),Adams,S.Moran,Sigalos,Sanders,Carter, all of those riders i rated higher.
