Witcher has not got the brain to realise this Colin,saying that he would not av a clue what happened in 1998.FACT how is there fact in the play/offs.? we all know the play/offs semi /final do ok for the four who Qualify but they barely compensate for losses throughout the season a few rain offs (ect).Everyone who does not really like the play/offs has said they do a job I've said,WK,Steve,Fred (good bloke!!) have all said the play/offs are ok are they right? a different matter.

Can you remember the big individual meeting at Cowley in the 70s? i went to that a few times.For a couple of years when the new restaurant opened in the Hans years i went every week the Hans v Erik and Knudsen clashes were superb.

There must be loads you could of named "norbold" riders, i have done research on and collected pictures of that really interest me are.Warren,Hunt,Oliver,Varey,both Johnsons( one kiwi),Fearman,Roccio,LIoyd and endless others the different era's really interests me.

One of my main regrets in speedway is not having seen Craven,Knutsson race live,both great riders.Knutsson for me goes down along with Lee,Collins,Gollob as someone who should of won more than 1 title they were all good anough to do it. So jealous "Norbold" great days eh!
