  1. No i just went by my own opinion, and are you seriously telling me Risager was EVER rated as highly as the three i named and believe me IRis i think my memory will be always be able to compete with you not a problem.
  2. I never ever heard from anybody that Risager was that highly rated,?certainly not in the league of NIelsen,Gundo,Knudsen.
  3. Lee i see as a 16 year old in the Silver Plume at Swindon he scored 10 pts a mega talent. He averaged 9 plus in a very hard NL at the age of 16 some doing Eh.
  4. I would not put Lambert at Lee and Wards level (ie) those two have to be the most talented riders ever?.Lambert though is a talent when i have seen him his gating is very poor but he is rounded a very good rider indeed a thinking rider one ride this year he produced at Lakeside this year was awesome.
  5. Was Risager in the top five? and you don't convince me that you rate Lambert? Risager i see a few times i think he rode with Smolinski on a few accasions he was decent no disrespect was never EVER going to be a star.
  6. A poor example have a rethink ? you yourself do you rate Lambert or not? forget the stats and figures and age Risager was not in the same league at the same stage.
  7. I agree WK certainly, what do you think a massive fine ? goes to Charity ?he has Ward i believe got away off very lightly. On another subject you never really agreed with the decimation of the one off final like myself , this years GP series is not the top 16 riders in the world it should be but it is not what do you think?
  8. Hitch with his funny style i loved watching him race, he was a proper racer! i Also i think Broady had a crab style a really great rider his World Final record superb also reaching the NL riders championship when an oldie i think he was in 1975 NL championship when Lee reached it at the age of 16 a number one at Boston Broady was a legend.
  9. No Emil no Laguta, no Ward are you SERIOUS?those three riders are in the top ten riders in the world! Yes or No.?
  10. Rubbish!Lambert might go on and fail,i personally think he has every chance of doing very well indeed Risager was decent but please Risager is a poor example SCB.
  11. Total rubbish, please Enlighten me?Do you like speedway?.?
  12. If what you believe is right and i respect that, why would you get rid of Ward when you have no able replacement? logic please he comes back June 27th,He might not be able to be fitted in straight away but nobody replaces him really.
  13. Hopefully he will Salty, Ward,Emil , Laguta are in the top ten riders in the world and this GP series is not the best it should be!!! the best riders are not riding in the GP series.
  14. Chalkie he rode for us on a bag of S.. most times inferior aquipment we have again been outhought he will do well i am sure.
  15. Both blokes are great people, Crump was an awesome rider a real quiet but really nice humane guy, Bob i met through Malc Holloway was really decent and he knew alot about speedway more than 99 per cent of us.
  16. I think alot of fans on here like myself Knew he had to be punished, i actually think he has got off lightly. But? how long did it take to make a decision?a total joke to be honest.A few people on here want to knock Ward whatever for me the sentence he has got puts the Vees up to people and MOVE on except it and hopefully enjoy when he rides speedway.
  17. This happens in any walk of sport, try to keep people sweet when it is your livelihood nothing new in that. Also this forum does not portray the overall feeling about Ward he is still popular and when he can ride again he will put bums on seats (ie) because he is a great rider.
  18. What about big Arthur and the feared Steve Gresham a good rider though!
  19. Hackney was one of my favourite tracks i ever went to,under Silver Friday at eight was a decent night out.Death trap has been mentioned but surely Exeter was as dangerous? all tracks were dangerous. And alot of the tracks that were run were old fashioned stadiums that were run down even Wimbledon looked dangerous Exeter was the scariest track i ever went to.A very fast track exciting and i enjoyed my every visit, as i did at the great Shay again that was a very fast circuit.
  20. I think he will,if he is strong knuckles down he will be a force for as long as he wants to be.Saying that the era now is very strong and i was totally wrong about that, not to worry we can all be wrong.!! In Ward's era i would say Emil, Hancock, Tai, Iversen,Pedersen, Laguta,Holder, and maybe Pawlicki are my stand out riders and a couple of those are not in the Gps anyway so he can still make up for lost time.
  21. Are you telling me IF? you are a speedway fan are you not looking forward to Ward riding i am!
  22. Batchelor i think could surprise he has a great shout to be in the 6/8 he has learned alot we will see.,,
  23. Darcy will be back in July and to be honest it could of been worst, but the decision to have taken that long what a DISGRACE.!!!.Even people who are not fans of Ward's know that this whole episode has been handled badly.I HOPE he comes back and shows us what a great talent he is World Champion class certainly.Keep out of trouble do what you do best ride speedway my overall hope that Darcy proves his worth a he is a great rider down to him now any more slip ups now could be terminal.
  24. Laguta is a class act in my opinion, i wondered what most thought on the forum?where would he come if he was in the series?.I think top eight minimum and is capable of getting in the three a real talent i believe.
