That Cradley side was something else,a gem of a move i think by Adams? to bring Ravn in who had underachieved at the big pacy Hyde Rd?I went to a double header at Cradley with Belle Vue i think who scored 19? and Swindon also getting battered scoring i think? 23 points.

T.Owen,Lawson,Jackson (ex) did a spell at Wolves a great NL rider didn't go full time and there are a few others who preferred to be a big fish in that sphere. Spot on and he helped Ashby get second one year also.

I agree with most and Gomolski is capable of so much more,i don't believe Newman is one of the top 3 draft riders this year.He was last year also i don't think he could cope as well as Howarth did from the tough number 2 birth.

You like myself are a huge Gollob fan, some people laughed at how i could rate him higher than Pedersen but i certainly do.Some of his moves over the years at Bydgoszcz have been breathtaking just a shame he only won one title but i suppose some other greats never won the top prize so he didn't do to badly.COLLINS has to be the best rider i ever see come from the back,at Hyde Rd he was sublime he was one of a few with Crump,Jansson,(ect) that could put it up to Mauger/Olsen.At Hyde Rd he missed the gate regularly but rode lines that no other rider could ride a real racer class a LEGEND.

I thought Lee and Collins took it to another level how did those TWO only win two titles between em? mike i was a bigger fan of but PC could of won three titles Lee defo should of won another in Norden 83.

LEE was BETTER than all of em as a natural talent interval rides at the age of 14/15 a number 1 in the mega tough old NL at the age of 16 not bad.

GR you know as much as most on this forum about Darcy you see him at the Lynn that was decent surely.What do you hope he does in his career from now on? at this point are you disappointed?I think he has every chance to kick on i hope so you see MIKE LEE at his best for seven years surely Darcy has more years ahead of him at the very top level if he can stay in the background out of trouble.

I think in my day a number one coming in on his choice of gate in heat number eight was the norm most away sides some were very weak this always happened.Now a home team can do everything right yet get punished by a tactical move in one hit, like i said in the old days a 1.5 could happen gain four points now it is a real match changer is that right? Sport is brutal that is how it should be i see Reading get murdered at Hyde Rd 57.23 when they were both going for the title that's what sport is about.

Gustix going on to another subject ,were Farndon,Huxley, and Duggan unlucky not to be world champions ?going through my research and people i respect taking there view Duggan certainly was what do you think? also Bobbath,and Norbold ( not his hole!!) great historians awesome knowledge all of you nice to hear what your take is on it.Duggan my uncle said he was mustard, after the war the photos i have of him he looked like an old man but his racing style awesome up there with Olsen/ Mauger in that respect.
