I would put Glanz a bit in front of Simmonds myself as actually we dont know how good his best is?He did get some decent scores on his travels where as Simmonds did rely an awful lot on his County ground home average away he was never to hot.But i will say it is going to be harder to average 5 or 6 than say 2 years ago in the P.L we shall see.

SCB i am not a expert but wernt Seemond and Simmonds really big track riders?the county ground and surely wernt exspected to average that much.Glanz has little track exsperience and i exspect him to more and hold his own at home away will be difficult i know.

Thats why i think he might consider knocking the E.L on the head eventually.What i mean he is getting more rounded as a rider each year improving bit by bit.

I think Holder will get stronger and fancy him to have a good campaign, Jonsson to get on the rostrum but not win it Sayfidinov i think he has a bit to prove behind Holder in my eyes.Out of Crump,Gollob,Hancock and Hampel to win it?Jonsson and Holder pushing for the rostrum?

Did Glanz ride in the danish league last year 2nd tier? did well by all accounts the big thing is how he copes in the top 5.

I cant wait for the dvd,will be brilliant i hope there is as much possible footage of Mirac and exspecially the great Tommy(love some golden helmet footage).These dvds are terrific the more the BETTER.

Same as you White Knight, have been lucky Farndon, Parker, Craven, Williams all legends i didnt see ride. Other riders i wished i had seen but didnt were Nordin, Knutsson,Plechanov.But have seen most of the rest we were blessed with some great English riders over the years. It puzzles me up to 1973, why great britain with Briggo, Mirac,and Ivan riding why Britain didnt win everything? i know Sweden were a huge force.

Steve we would finish school play either football,cricket,or Tennis play down the fields thats all we did.Was never forever asking mum and dad for money we made our own fun.I was always aloud to go to speedway it didnt seem exspensive to go maybe it was relative to the time? i dont know. From 1970 (you could leave your backdoor open crime seemed low )until now things are so different it is amazing really.

White Knight ,you are so right kids dont do so much Sport at school nowadays when i was there i think PE teachers did most things in there spare time after school.In my youngests last school year they had only 2 competetive football matches all year to me its as important as English.Even local football numbers have dramatically gone down alot of that is because of lack of pitches.Going back to the young ones surely theyre are loads who would get the buzz and excitement out of learning to ride having a spin. EXSPENSE and all these health and safety issues (noise) stop alot of it also people cant afford to do it for nothing such a shame i would love to have the Talent WHOOPS natural? talent coming through again.

His record stacks up favourably ,and won it in a great era i think he retired at a quite young age did he start a business ?looked stylish.

Was Knutson capable of winning more than one title? i never saw him so i have no knowledge myself.if it had been a gp format i dont think he would of won a world title.

When i watched Michael Lee,s divd he said it all for me.He said all he wanted was the sport to move forward but certain individuals over the years were just in it for themselves .Nothings changed i still love the sport but i think you need a impartial body running the sport making decisions that makes the sport move forward everyone gaining not just individuals.

I have no idea myself but why have Britain gone from being a force in Speedway to zilch.I have no idea ,we had bucket loads of riders at one time.I think going up to about the Loram, Screen, Havelock ,Louis, Wilson,(era) we were ok.Since then its got pretty desperate, is it because of exspense, maybe youngsters have more things to do now? Training facilities, INVESTMENT in youngsters.Harris has done very well and i like Auty is there anybody else? What are the reasons i have no idea.

I dont think consisdently he is better than Crump yet he should go on to at the moment not a better all round rider than Crump.

Roof Phil you have it on the brain? do you think speedway is in good shape? could it be better.I think it could be but havent got people in charge with a vision and drive plod on year to year a real shame.

Who knows for sure, why not be ambitious? thats why speedway will never progress.Darts and Snooker has put Speedway to shame how they have pushed on as sports.The gp series i feel needs changing rather boring at times wont go into that been done to death.i do feel there are a group of the public that are happy with the way speedway is also a group that i am in feels it could be more progressive.We will see a few changes are needed whether it happens or not in future we will have to see.

Myself white Knight the speedway is not everything it would be the whole week end as long as i saw the meeting i am happy loads more to do in London and hotels cheaper.
