  1. Thats good then get a loan fee or nothing what would you rather?
  2. A talented lad i believe he might be a future EL rider a nice tidy style also young Bates could be too i don't know a lot about him but Adam Lowe also impressed me at the minimum could be a PL rider.
  3. This sport is a joke god there is a load of backstabbing,to be honest Peterborough are a joke! a loan fee for Batch only otherwise let them stew.
  4. A world champ no one can ever can take that away from him! First time I see Gary I think was at Reading never really see him at National league Midldlesborough a young lad see him later on. HIs dad was decent very decent a great captain!Gary great style good luck in the future Gary!
  5. Put things into perspective he hasnt murdered anyone! when I've seen him he has been professional.Signed autographs been polite and (ie)whatever people say mega talented .Apart from Mike Lee he is the most talented rider I have ever seen want him to get back on track this bloke puts bums on seats speedway needs him now i believe.
  6. Fair play 'SCB' funnily enough i do agree with a lot of your posts i do not always comment but so what. If Zagar gets you to a few extra meets can't be bad eh!
  7. Think he could average more than 8 is a class act i know ER rates him.! I do too first see him at Trewlawny with Wellie and later Reading will surprise too in the GPs this year.
  8. Was looking through all of my Vic Huxley cuttings and pictures what a great rider he was.But the name Syd Edmonds keeps being mentioned around that time how good was he?I have limited knowledge of his pedigree wondered if others new more about him.
  9. I went to the first meeting, when Bristol came back was it 77? The Daily mirror meeting the crowd was huge.Remember it being rough and bumpy a sandy sort of surface good luck to the Bristol bulldogs be great to av em back.
  10. March 1st after that we can get Batch on loan? hope so if not look at other options.Would the fans want us to be pushed to pay a fee in a climate which is very tough. Also not knowing what the new longterm rules are going to be why would the Swindon management do so.?
  11. Great news 'A ORLOV' chuffed every year killer gets remembered a lovely bloke great rider.Hopefully maybe a Malc Holloway night might happen? A lovely man a very good rider at his best he beat the best at one time or another but he did love the Robins so winning the league this year he would of loved it KILLER and MALC legends in my eyes.
  12. I think Steady can average 10.50 to 10.90 at home he will take some beating! Away he will do well loved watching him ride for the robins a nice bloke genuine and he is a very good rider no doubt about that.
  13. I think if they cannot afford to carry Josh, which maybe they won't have too!.It might tell us that not all the top guys are riding to there potential.Because as a line up god what an exciting one,Scunny now are a force big time. When i last saw them in the late 70s they were a bottom of the table job really exciting days i think for the stags fans.
  14. I hope speedway goes forward as a whole! it does not matter to me if the Panthers, Robins or Poole or whoever wins as long as the sport progresses year after year.Has it though in the last 30 years since Penhall a big NO.
  15. Great news chuffed Scunny have given another young talented Brit a chance, good luck Josh!
  16. Hardly a hanging crime? does it matter that much us as speedway fans certainly stick together right!
  17. Whoops! saying that some weeks i was going 5 days a week.
  18. One year we went to Reading, Oxford, Swindon every week. We missed about two home Oxford fixtures only and that was when they had the lovely new grandstand.I and Hagonshocker (he probably did more) did about 120 meetings that year including individual as well great days.
  19. No gps for Hans he also will certainly do better away from home this year. Also will be interesting what averages BIrks and Howarth end up with at EL level BIrks what I've seen looked a good starter and has a neat tidy style.
  20. I think Hans can add half a point to his average, also PK to average over 8.Ash BIrks i am looking forward to seeing was impressed when i see him last year young English and keen i think if he can average 4.50 would be great learning season for him.
  21. Respect Oldace, i am slipping Holder too RETAIN the title give me the one off final anyday drama excitement..Saying that the GP series has grown on me more young uns getting a chance. But would say a young 17 year old Michael Lee immediately get a chance at the WC now NO.
  22. Wondered who people thought would be the new world champion? and who else would do well.I think Holder can regain the title also Iversen to be in at least the 6th to 8th place in the GP standings.
  23. Ray Stadia is right it is hardly debate is it by calling him a Wally, he starts the thread yet gets the .... taken out of him.As for Oldace has he ever got anything positive to say?
  24. All i am saying is don't bother with the thread if you are not interested, why try to belittle the bloke.
  25. I can say the same of about you but until now wouldn't of said anything, you remind me of Victor Melldrew god talk about doom and gloom.
