  8. Hi thanks for advice,we live in wolverhampton.and have been going to scunthorpe,to use there mini track thats the problem we have as its a 240 mile round trip, thats why we was thinking about starting him on grass as there are more places for him to ride near us im not sure that there are anymore local speedway tracks that him can go on do few laps, not sure if buxton do it as thats not to far from us also stoke can you tell me a bit more about the diffrence in grass and speedway bikes a old mate of my dads used to ride on grass, hes told us that you can swapthe wheel off a grass bike and put a speedway wheel in also put a bar in the susspetion he wants to get into speedway but i do think that starting on grass will be better for him,as he will be able toget a lot more track time and i belive the costs not as much as speedway
  9. Hi guys We are in need of help,my son who is 13 has just stared getting into speedway he has been to a few training days with wayne carter, and is getting on very well now we are looking into getting his own bike, but the problem is what to get 125cc that hes been training on 250 or 500 so he can race Ive been told that the 250 and 500 are to big for the mini tracks are the 125 to small for the bigger tracks what we have been thinking is to get him a 125cc grass track bike so he can get more track time at small grass track meets and still take it on the mini tracks till hes 14 and than can move onto the bigger bikes and tracks any adive will be a great help
