  1. Can I ask out of interest why you have put King's Lynn so high?
  2. Welcome aboard Dennis Jonsson! He is their number 8 apparently. How many riders is that now?
  3. It's the last year of the Brandon Stadium so last time to host it there. British final has some great history at the stadium
  4. Is there anymore news on how Lakeside will line up? Confusing when they have signed so many riders
  5. Not as one of his 1-7 though. He wanted him as a 8th rider who could guest if needed
  6. They already have the World Cup. Would be nice to see it as Coventry with this being the last year of Brandon Stadium
  7. I personally think this team looks weaker than last year's. Leicester will be relying heavily on their reserves. How many of the available points have they used in team building?
  8. He wouldn't be signed as a number one. Batchelor would be King Lynn's number 1 and Barker would be a second string
  9. I have friends who brought theirs in advance last year so over a year ago but told they can still be used for the rearranged date. Tickets not arrived though but they got the impression you give your name at a separate entrance on the day, rather than have tickets sent. Could be wrong though as not a lot of communication.
  10. Looking at the list, do Leicester have 2 tier 1 riders or is it not in order?
  11. Batchelor would be your number one. Barker would be your 2nd string based on averages
  12. As a Coventry fan, I would love Larsen in my team. I'm hoping that once new averages come in during May and the heatleaders list doesn't count, if we need to make a change then we could bring in Zengi or him (nor likely I know)
  13. As you will see if you read what I wrote, I said "quite a few" not all! I think Doyle & AJ are good number ones. Holder, KK & Zagar have the talent but have had times where they have struggled. Klymakorpi is a good rider but not a number one imo esp away from home. Batchelor should be capable of mixing it with them all, if King's Lynn can get the best out of him. I think a break from Rosco will do him some good.
  14. Whilst Barker isn't the signing a lot would be hoping for, king's Lynn do have a number 1 in Batchelor. He is capable of being a good rider but needs to focus. Maybe we will see that happen now he has different people around him. When you look at the number ones for the 8 teams this year, quite a few of them are riders who can be unpredictable or have struggled for form in the past. Belle Vue- Zagar Coventry - Kaspazak Lakeside - AJ Leicester- Ulamek? Poole. - Holder Swindon- Doyle Wolves- Klymakorpi
  15. He was never on the draft list. Batchelor would then be the number 1 for King's Lynn but surely they would be a lot under the limit. Nothing confirmed yet
  16. That's the same name I have been hearing which would give them a top 5 of Batchelor, Lambert, Schlein, Mads & Barker
  17. So now that King's Lynn are no longer using their own assets in Lewis Kerr and Simon Lambert at reserve, Carl Wilkinson will miss the following fixtures due to clashes with Scunthorpe: 7th April. Coventry (H) 2nd May Belle Vue (A) 30th May. Wolves (A) 17th June. Coventry (A) 11th Aug. Poole (H) 25th Aug. Wolves (H) 29th Aug. Wolves (A) I have heard both Barker & Stead mentioned as the final rider to complete the line up but could just be rumours as nothing confirmed. Neither are number 1s.
  18. Lakeside are having no problem, losing track how many they have in their team. I see Kings Lynn are now on their 3rd Tier 1 draft rider and the season hasn't even started yet
  19. I don't think they are strong at reserve but think they have a good top 5.However it will be interesting to see how they get on this year with no home advantage.
