  1. Steve Worrall is riding very well in the top 5. One of the success stories of the fast draft this year.
  2. Hans Andersen is hoping to ride in the SEC on Saturday after his operation went very well. If he returns then how can Poole get a injury replacement in the play offs for a rider who is able and willing to race? I'm not sure Hans will be as much of a walkover as North last year
  3. All that screaming and excitement from the duo over Newman in heat 9 and he still came last behind a reserve & fast draft rider Couldn't be any worse as scored 0,0,0 I thought he was a great racer so what's starts got to do with it when this track is good for passing?
  4. Middlo sad it on sky although Hans seems to think otherwise 🤔
  5. Can see why they prefer to use a guest I agree with Pearsen, Ellis looks poor tonight 0,0,0 so far. And to think some thought he deserved to be the SWC reserve on this track and yet he is dreadful on it 😂 Surely he will soon be back at reserve with Newman
  6. We are only 3 heats in. I think the track looks good Newman looks a shadow of the rider he was. 2,0,0 so far. Really surprised how he has stalled. Should be scoring lots at reserve
  7. Brilliant ride for Jacob in heat 2. Left Newman and Pedersen standing. I think Cook was very lucky to not be excluded as the fact he jumped so much was the reason Buzz moved and touched the tapes
  8. With Lindgren's recent low home scores, Wolves should actually be stronger with RR as Woffy, Masters, Lawson and PK can all take an extra ride. For Coventry, this is one of Kaspazak's worst tracks so RR wouldn't weaken us too much is Garrity had been riding. However Barker for Garrity who usually flies around There weakens us a lot. Prediction 58-32
  9. Our season is over anyway so not really racing for anything. Can you imagine anybody telling the polish federation that he couldn't attend the World Cup gold ceremony lol. It's a huge achievement and it's good to see Poland give it the recognition needed. Speedway isn't high on Britiains agenda.
  10. Official Buildbase Coventry Speedway Website Home Latest News Fixtures/Statistics Club Admission Riders Corporate Fans History Gallery WOLVES v COVENTRY, PREVIEW Sunday September 11, 2016 COVENTRY complete their Elite League away programme with a short trip to Wolverhampton on Monday (7.30pm). The Buildbase Bees form on the road this year has not matched their exploits of 2015, with the impressive victory at Kings Lynn in mid-June their sole success although they should arguably have added further victories at Leicester and in their other visit to the Adrian Flux Arena. With the meeting at Monmore being re-arranged after a rain-off last month, both sides are forced into changes for what is Wolves final fixture before they enter the play-offs. Coventry have had the news that Jason Garrity will miss their final two matches of the season, as he is struggling with the hand injury he picked up at Belle Vue recently. Garritys place will be taken by squad member Ben Barker, and the Bees operate rider-replacement for Krzysztof Kasprzak who is at home in Poland for an official reception, attended by major national dignitaries, to commemorate their World Cup success. Wolves are themselves without two of their regulars as both Fredrik Lindgren and Jacob Thorssell are involved in Swedish play-off matches. The home side bring in Richard Lawson as a guest and also operate the rider-replacement facility. Bees boss Gary Havelock said: I spoke to Jason after hed had to withdraw at Ipswich last Thursday he simply cant hold onto the bike, so unfortunately hes had to say thats it, hes done for the season. Its frustrating that weve got to go to Wolves without him, and they will probably be somewhat relieved because everyone knows how well he goes there, but the other boys will give it their best and well see what we can do. 11. Why Barker??? Surely we could get somebody better on Garrity's average. We are just playing out the season now. Easy home win for Wolves
  12. Can't think of anything worse than a team with Bjerre & Batchelor in it. I agree. Think there should be a minimum of 1 Brit at reserve and 1 in the top 5. Otherwise I think a lot of British riders will be out of work as only Coventry, Belle Vue & Lakeside seem to always include a lot of them.
  13. If rumours are true then he's not getting paid at Belle Vue at the moment anyway due to financial problems. Fricke is in the pits at Brandon will the Coventry team at most meetings this season so has a good relationship with us. As for Coventry owing riders money, don't you think Hans & JK would have been the first to come out and say so if that was the case? Hans was always very vocal about what Swindon owed him. The fact Larsen posted about £2000 that he thinks Coventry owe him from 4years ago and then deleted it straight away is odd.
  14. Deserving winner. I've never been his biggest fan due to his attitude in the past and some of the things he says in the press, but he has come across well in GP interviews and shows how much it means to him. I think out of the 3 in the title race, Doyle has been the best to watch and I hope he goes on to win it.
  15. Do they really have to tell us Hancock's age after every race he's in. Doyle has been class tonight. His to lose
  16. He is out for the rest of the season with his injury He is out for the rest of the season with his injury. Garrity races against tougher riders than the Glasgow team in the EL so don't think he would be running scared of Glasgow's team or track 😉
  17. No Garrity. He's out for the rest of season. 😥 This is one of his best tracks so a huge loss
  18. Gutted for Garrity as he has been in brilliant form for both us and Sheffield. We need to get him signed up for next year
  19. Harris and Garrity are both currently injured so are doubts for this meeting 😕
  20. I would be happy with Harris, Kaspazak, King & Garrity back next year plus maybe Joonas depending on the point limit
  21. Doyle is already confirmed for Swindon as he has signed a 2year deal. Andersen signed a 2year deal with Poole
  22. A lot will depend on the structure of next year's teams and rule changes. Lots of rumours of 6 men teams so riders are shared out more. Also the heatleader list looks like it will be scrapped already. Will there be a draft list.
  23. I agree. To say Garrity hasn't improved since the middle of last year is madness. He now has a 8pt average in the PL and has got several Max's and double figures riding as a heatleader. Garrity has had a lot of time out with injuries this year but has held his own in the top 5 and has upped his average to 6pts riding there. In his last 5 meetings since returning from injury, hes scored 16, 7, 11, 13, 11. Garrity has beaten rides like Doyle, Nicholls, Morris, Buzz, Andersen, JK, Cook rather than reserves. I think to say he hasn't progressed is madness
  24. He scored 14 which is good but that was from 6 rides and one was a tactical ride which makes points more. So take away double points it would be 12 from 6 rides. Max scored 10 from 5 rides last time
