Idea For British Final 2014
mdmc82 replied to RPNY's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Coventry would be a good place for it. After all most the riders in it are either Coventry Assets or have rode for the bees. -
The first time Roynon rides is in the testimonial next sun. X

Coventry spent most of 2011 with team made up of guests. Had 4 riders missing (Emil, Shamak, Piotr & Kennett) against Peterborough

Starke & Ian should be ashamed. Starke a disgrace. Been a good close Pl meeting, enjoyed it. Brilliant win for Newcastle. Kennett riding like he did for Coventry. Congratulations to Berwick on a great track -

Isnt it abit early for this thread after only a couple of GPs? Qualifers havent even been done yet. -
Wont be Szczepaniak as that would make 4 d/u riders so would be out of Summers, Robbo or Allen. Guess will have better idea over next couple of meetings
-
Completely agree. Great to see Emil leading standings. Early days but really hope he can stay up there
-
Promotors did mean this at the start of the year and think its fair Workington last year rearranged meetings on nights Coventry were already racing so although it was our original fixture date it meant we ended up with Roynon

adam roynon @Ad_Royno42h Great news from the CT scan! Everything is fully recovered

I can see Kennett doing it this year. Afterall last year he managed to make final in British Final but had forgot how to ride a bike in the league. Def stronger this year. Think final could be: Tai, Kennett, Nicholls, Cook Wont rule out Harris or King though -

Minutes silence wasnt suggested cos Lee was a British Rider, its because it was on this date last year that he died. -

Allen was great at Coventry last night and battled really hard -
BRITISH FINAL LINE-UP: Craig Cook (Belle Vue/Edinburgh), Olly Allen (Coventry/Rye House), Richie Worrall (King’s Lynn/Newcastle), Chris Schramm (Plymouth), Stuart Robson (Coventry/Newcastle), Tai Woffinden (Wolverhampton), Scott Nicholls (Coventry), Ben Barker (Birmingham/Ipswich), James Wright (Glasgow), Ashley Birks (Swindon/Scunthorpe), Chris Harris (Birmingham), Danny King (Birmingham), Richard Hall (Sheffield), Josh Auty (Birmingham/Scunthorpe), Edward Kennett (Swindon), Simon Stead (King’s Lynn/Sheffield). Reserves: Joe Haines (Sheffield), Kyle Howarth (Poole/Workington). Hope there is a minutes silence or something done to mark the first anniversary of Rico's death. Fans are being asked on twitter to make Wolves white with their Rico tops. Tai has to be fave this year to win

Will change the play offs to the bottom 4 this year instead
