  1. the meeting at Leicester is the day after the ELRC so should imagine most riders should still be in the uk and available
  2. Looking forward to this meeting. Still 4 riders to be confirmed. Neil, why is Rory Schlien not on the recent line up (was on original) Hoping its just a mistake and that he will be riding esp being an ex bees asset & having guested for us alot as well. Hoping to see Summers, Cook or Kildemand added alongside him Wheres Rory?
  3. Leicesters is next sunday at 6pm Coventrys is 25th Oct at 7.30pm Coventry already have the Brandonapolis next week
  4. Thanks. Will be there this Friday for Brandonapolis and the following for Cov V Leicester.
  5. Wouldnt mind any of those with the exception of Dyer
  6. Been raining on and off alot in Coventry today. Has stopped for now. Really hope meeting is on at Brandon tomorrow morning
  7. Riding order for bees 1. Iversen. 2. Nicholls. 3. Zengota. 4. Fisher. 5.Barker. 6.Summers 7.Sarjeant Bit surprised Nicholls is riding at No 2. Thought Barker & Scott would be the other way round esp if Barker rides like he did last Mon
  8. Really hope both meetings go ahead. If not hope they are restaged as looking forward to them
  9. Thats more like it. Love watching NKI and would have loved him as a Cov rider. Really hoping this horrible rain goes away as not looking good for tomorrow or the Brandonapolis.
  10. would love to see Harris, Nicholls, Zengota and Kozza with the bees next year riders I hope will not be with the bees are : Barker, Morris, Robbo, Kasprzak, Kennett guess its goodbye Greg then as promotors are looking at lowering the point limit and increasing the amount of meetings. season is too short as it is without halving it!
  11. Neil, who came up with the bees side? Looking very weak without even a number 1 yet Leicester have 3 number 1s all over 8pts. shouldnt there have been a fairer point limit the big question is why on earth have we got that waste of space Barker riding for us after the way he behaved start of the season. one of the least popular riders at Brandon also Neil an even bigger question is WHY NO BOMBER? gonna give this one a miss and wait until the Brandonapolis the following week I think
  12. why on earth is Barker riding after the way he behaved this year. thought Harris would have been included. bit disappointed with the bees line up,
  13. Are Rory & Sundstrom no longer racing? Would have been nice to see Tai, shame he is injured or even some big names such as Pedersen. Will we see Kildemand added as havent seen him at Brandon this year? Surprised no Kennett.
  14. Should be a great day of speedway Coventry v Leicester 12pm Leicester v Coventry 6pm The Buildbase Bees can confirm that they will be tracking as many of their first-team squad as possible, and the team will be completed by Coventry rider assets. Admission prices for the home meeting will be £15 for adults, £13 for concessions and £5 for children aged 11-16. Season ticket holders admitted free of charge. Season tickets are also valid for the Brandonapolis on Friday October 18. Coventry owner Mick Horton said: “This fixture has been on the cards for a couple of seasons now, and it should be a cracking day of action. “Leicester will be strengthened considerably and I know they are set to announce a couple of surprise riders for the meetings. Teams so far Coventry select 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. Leicester select 1. Kasprzak (bit of a cheek) 2. Darkin 3. 4. 5. 6. 7.
  15. Started a new thread as other wont let me edit title. COVENTRY’S prestigious Brandonapolis individual event is taking shape – with a strong field set to contest the meeting next month. Originally due to be staged as the season-opener back in March but called off due to the weather, the Brandonapolis will now take place on Friday October 18 and will feature a selection of top stars and also some riders not currently racing in the UK. Danish star Niels-Kristian Iversen, who won last weekend’s Scandinavian Grand Prix and looks set for a medal finish overall in the World Championship, will be one of the favourites, and fellow Danish duo Hans Andersen (winner of the Brandonapolis in 2010) and Bjarne Pedersen are also included. There is a fourth Dane named in the line-up in Brandon track specialist Kenneth Hansen, who has been absent from UK action since 2009 but is keen to return next season. Hansen, who had some stunning scores against the Buildbase Bees for Peterborough, has been racing for Slangerup, Malmo and Krakow in the respective European leagues this year. A new face to watch out for is 22-year-old Pole Jakub Jamrog, who has been associated with Extraleague Tarnow during his domestic career and has also ridden for Division One club Lodz. Buildbase Bees skipper Scott Nicholls will be looking to take the Brandonapolis title for the first time, and his team-mate Grzegorz Zengota, who has enjoyed an impressive season at home in particular, is also included. Former Coventry captain Chris Harris is a confirmed starter along with his Birmingham team-mate Danny King, and other ex-Bees riders in the meeting are Peterborough’s in-form Ryan Fisher, the recently back-from-injury Sebastian Ulamek and his Lakeside colleague Lewis Bridger. There are four names to be confirmed to finalise the line-up for what promises to be a fiercely-contested meeting which will be decided by a winner-takes-all Final. BRANDONAPOLIS – CONFIRMED STARTERS Hans Andersen Lewis Bridger Ryan Fisher Kenneth Hansen Chris Harris Niels-Kristian Iversen Jakub Jamrog Danny King Scott Nicholls Bjarne Pedersen Sebastian Ulamek Grzegorz Zengota Would have been nice to see Woffy but imagine he will be focusing on resting his injury now & getting back to fitness.
  16. Ward has said this article was the first he had heard about it. At least this way it would hopefully make the new league an even playing field
  17. Really hope hans is ok and if not that Swindon can get a good guest although very short notice.
  18. Going to be a huge task for Poole. They looked average last night. Used 2 TR and still lost by 10. Swindon pushed them near last time and that was with PK missing
  19. You mean the same way Ford did the end of 2010 with only 1 rider over 8pts so Harris & Kasprzak had to be separated
  20. He has been announced as riding in the Brandonapolis
  21. Been lot of talk for a long time of a lower average and more meetings so think Poole will have to decide between Ward or Holder
