Swindon Vs Kings Lynn 21 August 2017
mdmc82 replied to Steve0's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
People talk about sarjeant but he's actually one of the only ones not delaying the starts. It's a joke. That said There was no reason really to pull Doyle back there. Hardly anything in it. Track not great tonight -

This meeting is very poor so far. Shame after some of the good ones shown so far this season -

Why wasn't Auty just put in heat 4 instead of having of having another rider of 15 metres? -

No disrespect to King's Lynn but this team looks very weak. Swindon should win this easily. Prediction 58-32 after TR -
I liked Kacper a lot at Coventry in that he was a rider who had good relationship with the fans and had some good races at reserve at Brandon and occasionally at Wolves. However some of his scores away were shocking in the uk. I wish him luck. I think it's laughable for Matt Ford to claim he's the next Magic at this moment

Poole Vs Rye House Thurs 10/8/17
mdmc82 replied to LisaColette's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
😂😂😂👍🏻 It certainly looks like all the rumours of Kaspazak being unhappy at Poole at the start of the season are true. Can't see him riding did them again With rule changes this year and it being harder for them to cheat, Poole really are showing how average they are -

Congratulations to Kaspazak on his paid Maximum 👍🏻 Let's hope this Rye House team can continue to get good scores now and make that top 4 -

As mentioned on twitter tonight, I wonder if Coventry's 63-32 win at Poole in 2009 (with Barker,Wells & Harris also in the team that night) will be topped tonight -
Can't see KK riding for them again either

Brilliant display so far from Rye House. Coventry favourites Harris & Kaspazak, plus ex bee Barker are all currently on maximums 🐝👍🏻 -

King's Lynn V Somerset 7/8/17(£10 Adults)
mdmc82 replied to tellboy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
What's wrong with Lawson?, he should be capable of beating some of these riders. Neither teams have a real number 1. Heeps is having a good meeting but the meeting is poor so far. Lacks any excitement -

Looking at the line up for both teams tonight it really shows how weak the league is. They look more like past championship teams -
A COVENTRY Select team will be racing in a Four Team Tournament at Sheffield on Thursday August 3. The meeting also features the Sheffield Tiger Cubs, the Belle Vue Colts and a Poultec Select quartet. The Coventry Select team is made up of riders who have all appeared for either Coventry Bees or Coventry Storm in recent years. The quartet are: Adam Roynon, James Sarjeant, Ryan Terry-Daley and Luke Priest. The riders will be using the official race-jackets which were produced for this season's Challenge matches and have already been worn at Peterborough, Wolverhampton and Poole. Admission prices at Owlerton are just £10 for adults and concessions, with children admitted for £1. Thanks to the Bates family, Julie Reading and Peter Mole for their interest in utilising the Coventry name, and we wish them well for a successful event. Belle Vue Aces Vs Poole Pirate 31/07
mdmc82 replied to SCB's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
This has got to be the worst Poole team in a long time. What happened to Ford always having a plan and riders wanting to ride for them. Hans and Kennett have been on the decline for a long time. I'm surprised by Starke though Well done Belle Vue and good to hear Cook scoring again -
Holder and Batchelor have moaned about everything connected to British speedway for a long time now. Holder is moaned about most tracks and both are known to hate a wet track. They have finally got their wish. No more wet British tracks that they moaned about anyway. 😉 You reep what you sow. Too many Aussies think that British speedway owes them 🙄

Worrall is a huge miss for the Aces. He's been in brilliant form. Advantage Poole -

Premiership Confirmed Signings 2017
mdmc82 replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Here are the teams confirmed line ups after the signing deadline. Very different teams to those that started the season. BELLE VUE 1. Kenneth Bjerre 2. Craig Cook 3. Max Fricke 4. Steve Worrall 5. Rohan Tungate 6. Dan Bewley 7. Jack Smith KING'S LYNN 1. Troy Batchelor 2. Robert Lambert 3. Chris Holder (28 day ban) 4. Kai Huckenbeck 5. Tomas Jorgensen 6. Nicklas Porsing 7. Simon Lambert LEICESTER 1. Kim Nilsson 2. Pawel Przedpelski 3. Danny King 4. Erik Riss 5. Lasse Bjerre 6. Kyle Newman 7. Josh Bates POOLE PIRATES 1. Hans Andersen 2. Richie Worrall (Brady Kurtz) 3. Edward Kennett 4. Jack Holder 5. Timo Lahti 6. Paul Starke 7. James Shanes RYE HOUSE 1. Chris Harris 2. Scott Nicholls 3. Ben Barker 4. Ricky Wells 5. Stuart Robson 6. Krzysztof Kaspazak 7. Ben Morley SOMERSET 1. Richard Lawson 2. Josh Grajczonek 3. Patrick Hougaard 4. Charles Wright 5. Cameron Heeps 6. Jake Allen 7. Lewis Kerr SWINDON 1. Jason Doyle 2. Nick Morris 3. David Bellego 4. Tobias Musielak 5. Bradley Wilson Dean 6. Adam Ellis 7. 3pt rider to replace Zach WOLVERHAMPTON 1. Freddie Lindgren 2. Jacob Thorssell 3. Sam Masters 4. Rory Schlein 5. Kyle Howarth 6. Ellis Perks (Mark Riss) 7. Nathan Greaves If you were now asked to rank these teams on paper, how would you place them? Mine would be: 1. Belle Vue 2. Rye House 3. Wolves 4. Swindon 5. Leicester 6. Poole 7. King's Lynn 8. Somerset -
Rosco would have been better to take Bates than Lambert. At least he was in the mix in the SGP. Lambert had looked miles from ready in both this and the World Cup. People said about Lambert should of had Bombers British GP places in the past but he's no where never even Harris level yet.
-
Worrall is more than holding his own against the big names. Lambert looks out of his depth. Good learning curve though 🇬🇧
-
Poole wasn't Kaspazak's first choice during the winter but the team he wanted to sign for offered him a very poor deal so he signed for Poole. He didn't seem happy at Poole or their ploughing field and his scores here reflected that while he was scoring well elsewhere. I would be surprised if he rode the pirates again. KK & Harris has always openly said how much they enjoy riding together and I think the mix of this team will work well. He won't stay at reserve long. This could be the closest to a bees team us Coventry fans ever see again 😥 I hope they do well
-
The KOC has been counted in the home and away averages Any news on any new signings?
-
Could prove a huge mistake from Poole letting KK go on a 5 average. He should score big at reserve anc end up with a big average again. He never seemed happy at Poole this year so it will be interesting to see how he gets on at Rye House.
