Swindon - Lakeside Now Thurs 28-8-14
mdmc82 replied to A ORLOV's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
bad news for lakeside, Bech just posted on twitter "Not the day we hoped for. Ain't happy for silver and pissed about my crash so I hurt my shoulder and my wrist again. No Poland or UK now." -
and of course you are welcome to your opinion I still remember that shocking track you served up when Roynon broke his back, was a disgrace, same with the track we raced on at swindon earlier in year when we took 4 points. It would also appear that Coventry isn't the only track to have stones flying (known as shale) Davey Watt 2⃣4⃣ @DavidWatt24 · Aug Does anyone have photos from last night at Swindon ? Preferably without me getting rocks thrown at me from back wheels !!!

only other riders I have seen moan about the track out of all those we have raced are Batchelor who moans if a drop of rain falls on a track (has moaned neally every sky meeting he's been in) Morley who was outclassed by all 3 of the other stronger draft riders and whining Watt. Need to learn how to cope when a track has a bit of dirt on it and have to race instead of just gate.

@Lakesidehammers: Lewis Bridger and Adam Ellis return to the Vortex Hammers side for tonight's (Saturday) home League match against Coventry. 7.45pm 1st race. Rory is riding in place of Bech. Hope Garrity is going to be okay as a tough track and he could hardly walk when getting off the bike after each ride. Such a determined rider.

Was that when they were losing? Swindon riders also moaned about Belle Vue and Birmingham when losing. Rosco was the same when we had him with the bees, can be a very good manager but is always full of excuses. As has been said before even Chris Louis said he couldn't see much wrong with the track and commented on Swindon being careful about being so negative as will go through the team. The bees riders have asked for the outside to be ripped up before each meeting as they like the dirt out wide for racing as harris & Sarj showed. A team of racers now may struggle at Brandon but why shouldn't Bees finally be finding a it of home advantage. works well for other teams in the league esp lakeside and eastbourne.

If Watt and Batchelor spent less time whining and more time riding then they might score. surprised either are captain as where is the motivation when they are always negative. When they score bad its always the track never them yet Richard lawson who isn't a head leader and James Sarjeant who's a fast track rider both got stuck in and gave it 100% Good post. Davey was not up for it but is blaming the track which isn't very fair. if bees riders go tonight and have a bad meeting then they will say it was them and not pass blame. Was also disappointed in morley moaning that he did poorly cos of track, in fairness he was always going to struggle there as weaker than the home reserves or perry. As others have commented on here, Good attitude by Richard (who liked a few posts on twitter of people telling watt the track was fine & stop making excuses cos lawson did it) and also by Perry who did try hard. I take it then that Watt should be able to get double figures easily tonight then if just the track. love the way he also moans about belle vue where he scored 4, Leicester track when he scored 5 His "dive" in heat 5 when bees were on a 5-1 was embarrassing. instead of moaning and messing about all night he should have been geering the team up and giving them some believe.

only riders moaning about the track are the ones that didn't score. track could have been perfect and still watt would have moaned. Morley was against stronger reserves tonight so was always going to struggle a bit. After all this moaning, I am expecting Watt to top score tomorrow then if the track was his only problem. Are Bridger and Adam back tomorrow?

King's Lynn V Eastbourne 22/08/14
mdmc82 replied to Bagpuss's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
well done King's Lynn. -
really enjoyed this meeting and have to say I was a bit worried that we would lose tonight once I knew we would have no facility for MJJ and no guest for Howarth, but I should have known better Once again the bees dug deep and gave a all round team performance with everybody getting in the points. You could see that Hansen and esp Garrity were in pain in the pits but they fought hard on the track and that means a lot. The rider tonight that really impressed me though was Sarjeant who really stepped up and took the Pressure off Garrity. He is getting better every week which is great to see. I hope Stefan is okay after his crash, he tried really hard tonight. For the hammers I was very impressed with Lawson who looked very fast and rode more like a number 1. Watt was very off the pace and looks a big worry away from home if lakeside do make the play offs. North was a good choice of guest. Well done to the depleted bees on another fighting team effort, looking very strong.
