  1. Maybe he shouldn't have gone and spent his money on a long holiday drinking and partying if he wanted to ride In 2015. Very unprofessional. Downside is without mads, who else does that realistically leave?
  2. I just assumed he didn't want to ride here and that's why they hadn't. Surely they wouldn't have picked Bridger over Mads otherwise.
  3. Typical Bridger. Doesn't give us much time to find a replacement. Mads would have been great if wanted to ride here. Which other riders would fit? Can't think of many.
  4. My mums a bees fan so she wants us to book a meal for the evening so she can watch the speedway during the day 😀🐝
  5. Another big problem last year at the stadium were the pigeons. Seats covered in bird poo and having to sit where you think you are least likely to get pooed on.
  6. I'm gonna take it that Blackbird has found out and knows what he's talking about so Peterborough will get priority.
  7. With the season due to start in a couple of weeks, I wonder why the delay in announcing the final rider?
  8. Wolves may struggle as only have 1 proven heat leader
  9. Bees have just brought Garrity so Must be willing to pay out. I haven't heard or seen any other riders complaining anywhere about money owed and we all know that Hans would be one of the first to say if they hadn't been paid.
  10. This is disgraceful. Surely as a employer you have rights Chris? It always seems that Horton does something really positive for the club like the Garrity transfer yesterday but then it's followed by another step backwards like this sacking. He seems very hot headed and has got to accept that people will have their own opinions on things. Chris Simpson has been a huge breath of fresh air last season with presenting the bees meetings and really got the atmosphere back (unlike Yorke) would be a big blow.
  11. thanks. Just wondered why it matters really who Blackbird is a asset of then as means Peterborough will get priority either way. x
  12. so if a rider is a NL rider, does PL get priority anyway?
  13. Look at Kennetts averages and what you will see is how he has declined over the years. Kennett has a higher average cos he started on a higher one due to his then EL average. He has been around more years than Garrity and career is only going one way. Whilst we are talking about the PL Kennett managed to drop from 10.65 to 8.38 in the averages. Does that look like a improving rider? Whilst Garrity improved on his average, starting the season 5.31 and finishing it 6.75. So yes you have a point when you say look at their improvement in the PL, Garrity is the better rider I assumed riders just kept them and didnt get money back once they are used, which is why some sell them on ebay
  14. IT wasn't the FIM delaying the hearing though, it was Ward
  15. Lol. Did you ever watch him ride in EL for bees. Went from 8point average to a 5point one. aside from the cheating, Kennett only seems to be able to preform well for couple of months and then loses all form. Sadly he seems to be going backwards whilst Garrity is a young lad, keen to learn and keeps getting better. Look at last years British final Kennett scored 3 whilst Garrity scored 9 including race wins over Woffy & Kennett and a place in semi final.
  16. Which bookies as haven't seen any odds out yet?
  17. Still not 100% sure as some saying he's a PL asset and so saying he's a NL asset which is why I left the question mark.
  18. Looking at Teams now the rules are a bit clearer (with exception of Blackbird) below is a list of who gets priority for the riders doubling up and how many clashes there will be where the rider is missing. BERWICK No D/U riders EDINBURGH Craig Cook (Edinburgh) 0 GLASGOW Richard Lawson (Glasgow) 0 Nick Morris (Swindon) 1 James Sarjeant (Coventry) 5 IPSWICH Danny King (Coventry) 3 Stefan Nielsen (Belle Vue) 3 NEWCASTLE Steve Worrall (Belle Vue) 3 Lewis Kerr (King's Lynn) 1 Lewis Rose (Swindon) 6 PETERBOURGH Robert Lambert (King's Lynn) 2 Simon Lambert (Leicester) 6 Lewis Blackbird? 5? PLYMOUTH Kyle Newman (Poole) REDCAR Stuart Robson (Coventry) 3 RYE HOUSE Edward Kennett (Rye house) 0 SCUNTHORPE Josh Auty (Scunthorpe) 0 SHEFFIELD Ashley Birks (Sheffield) 0 Josh Bates (Sheffield) 0 Simon Stead (Sheffield) 0 SOMERSET Paul Starke (Somerset) 0 Charles Wright (Somerset) 0 WORKINGTON Kyle Howarth (Workington) 0
  19. Kennett due to miss 7 meetings now. Lawson due to miss 4 and Birks 13! Is it just Roynon, Boxall, Hawkins, Wilkinson and tier 2 riders that can cover Birks?
  20. Brilliant news for both teams. Us bees fans get to have Garrity full time and with regards to the future. Whilst Rye House now won't miss Kennett for any of their fixtures. Works well for both riders and fans.
  21. Rye House will now get priority over all of Kennetts fixture clashes with Lakeside as he had become a Rye house asset in a swap deal with Coventry for Garrity. This may make him very hard to find strong guests on his low average.
  22. Brilliant news. Garrity is now a bees asset and Kennett is a Rye House asset. Makes a lot of sense and feel we have got the much better end of the deal 🐝
