Coventry Bees V Wolves Friday 27th March
mdmc82 replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Roynon injured so only really 2nd tier riders available. Therefore Stefan is one of the best on the availability list on the Brandon track. -
Great words from Garrity and sounds very positive and commited. Definitely has the talent and great for the team spirit. Great partnership on track between him and Sarjeant. Good luck to both of our reserves. Hopefully there's a big season a head for them. Really glad we were able to keep them both in the draft

Is this the same Poole and Matt ford who in the past have cancelled a meeting when they have had 1 rider missing cos they didn't want to rob the paying public lol.

Out of the available riders, Stefan is a good choice of guest for Blackbird. Always rides Brandon well. Weather forecast currently looking good. With it being being the first meeting of the season and a local derby, I would imagine there will be a good crowd. Hopefully the supremes cd has been thrown away and the start/winning jingles Have returned. -
Brilliant news. So pleased for Hansen Speedway family proving how good they are again

Belle Vue looking good as well.

That's what's confusing. Lewis says if it's a home meeting he rides for the home team. However Peterboroughs is at home tomorrow but he says he gets to decide? -
Congratulations Birmingham on 1st away win and against Cradley.

Shocking news. Wish Kenneth all the best. Hes a lovely person. I'm sure he will have the love and support of the whole speedway family. X

Lewis Blackbird has just tweeted: I'll be doing all pboro home meetings, and all wolves home meetings. however he said he's allowed to choose which on Friday night. This could mean either teams. If listed on his site though then imagine riding for wolves. -

I thought wolves and Panthers confirmed not long ago that Wolves had priority in a clash? Link to article is on the Peterborough thread) -
Credit to horton. Last years team made the final and was one of the best in ages. This year he has put together another strong looking side. Good luck to him. Credit to horton. Elite League Confirmed Signings 2015
mdmc82 replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Coventry have signed Kylmakorpi as a replacement for Jamrog. -
Brilliant news. 😄 Feel sorry for Jamrog as seems a really nice lad and you could tell he was trying but think he was really out of his depth. Team looking strong now
-
Enjoyed watch Stefan with cov Storm but very injury prone. Agree Bates is on paper the weakest of the 4 reserves, however he may be able to pick up points from Jamrog when the teams meet 😞
-
Still confused as to why Wolves picked Josh Bates when They could have had any rider on the 2nd tier including Starke, Rose and Sarjeant.
-
I agree. He's unreliable, speedway is more of a hobby than a career to him. Also had no practice for whole winter and not prepared. However there has to be riders out there stronger than Jamrog. The tracks are different in Poland so think starting his uk career in the EL is not fair on him as setting him up to fail. It's a real disadvantage when he struggles to beat the NL riders and we haven't faced the strongest teams yet. Imagine Horton is looking at options and waiting until he finds a solution. Hopefully it won't take too long esp with Poole to face soon.

Congratulations to Chris Harris. Clearly the best rider tonight. My friend and her partner said he looked fast tonight and rode really well. More of the same next Monday 😄
