Coventry Bees V Poole Pirates 10th April 2015

That's the unfortunate case with Swindon and bees. Pooles guests however are due to fixture clashes for Josh and Starke -

Much better scores and racing from Stefan last night so maybe he had been having bike problems before that. If so, he could be a lot better on this visit. It's great to not be worrying about risk of rain. Forecast for the hottest day of the year today. Sun is already out ☀️ -

Was on their official Twitter site yesterday. Surprised when you look at the form King currently has in the PL -
Lakeside V Swindon 10th April 2015

Zengota struggled on bees visit to Lakeside and didn't beat any opposing rider, He was brilliant at Brandon but his away form was always very disappointing. May prove people wrong though. Morley has always been very good at Lakeside Imo I think even with a full Swindon team, this would be a home win for Lakeside who have started very strong at home. -
Swindon V Lakeside Thur 9th April

Why not, it worked for Poole last year in the play offs and during the season. Think Troy and Rose would have scored more than their replacement but Andersen definitely scored much more last night than Adrian would have that's for sure and Blackbird was much better than Wright with both Robins struggling so far. Swindon rode well but credit has to also be given to Lakeside who up against a strengthened Swindon side, still took it to a last heat decider. -

Think he fell out with Coventry's management last year after he made some hurtful comments about Havvy's arm and disability. "Bees go into the meeting with Stuart Robson still on the sidelines after his crash at Redcar a fortnight ago, and the popular 38-year-old may need another scan as he is still in pain from a lower left leg injury" This above statement is a bit concerning for us bees fans. -

Sometimes the guests can be stronger than the rider they are guesting for. -

Very surprised that this meeting went to a last heat decider. First away point of the season for Lakeside. Well done to both teams Hans Andersen on the gas -

I think that's a very good point. If Watt was riding I would feel much more confident. -

9 heats gone and it's hard to split the 2 teams. Much better so far from Kennett. Still think Swindon will win this over the next couple of heats but Lakeside not making it easy for them -

Full team line ups are Swindon Andersen, Howarth, Morris, Zengi, Nicholls, Blackbird, Perry Top 5 have all been bees riders in last couple of years -
Think Belle Vue will do well but to say nobody will touch them at home is a big statement. Some said the same about Leicester
-
Leicester may get lucky here depending on who guests for Cook and Zagar
-
Not so sure. They only just missed out at King's Lynn. Wonder who guests for Cook.

Predicting a easy home win for Swindon esp with the strength of guests they have. Lakeside have struggled so far away from home. (Think Lakeside will win return leg though) More importantly though, I hope all the riders have a safe meeting. -
Wolves Vs Belle Vue Tues 7th April

Agree esp when he's the 2nd tier reserve and was up against the highest ranked over all rider in Kerr -
In his last home meeting for Edinburgh, Cook was on a paid max until his last race. Thats not poor form. It's the EL for some reason he's struggling in and that's as a second string.

This is going to be our toughest test at home. With Rory instead of Watt (who has either finished 3rd or last in his last couple of meetings at Brandon) it definitely strengthens the Pirates. Big ask for Heeps against Poole on a track he doesn't know well. Robson is good at home. Would love a bees win but my head says Poole will nick this one. Expect a huge crowd -

He doesn't return until the King's Lynn fixture so missing for this one. -
Rosco is going to be a busy man finding guests for this fixture as Swindon will be without Batchelor, Adrian, Rose, Wright and Howarth! Lakeside should be at full strength (if priority over Kennett for home meetings)

It been a very busy start to the season for Lakeside as this will be their 5th meeting (3rd away) whilst only the 2nd for swindon. Any word on who guests for Rose?
