Thanks Tocha, I will remove those dates from list if afternoon fixtures. 👍

That's good to hear. Glad nothing is broken.

Only if Kildemand agrees to ride for longer

Brendan Johnson joins Rye House as a temp replacement for Luke Priest

Who sorted the NL fixtures this year as wasn't thought out very well. Looking at just May at the moment. Luke Crang is due to miss 4 of the 6 fixtures (including Koc) due to PL clashes. That alot of meetings to not have your No 1.

There's been some great stuff in the Evening Telegraph as well. Great to see good publicity for the club

Lakeside have made a team change The Vortex Hammers have renamed their team for the forthcoming fixtures with Steve Boxall coming in following two impressive guest performances in place of Ashley Birks, who has a string of fixture clashes coming up with his Sheffield commitments making him unavailable to ride for the Hammers, including home meetings against Coventry and Poole. Jon Cook explained: Its a rock and a hard place time for Neil Vatcher and myself. Were really enjoying working with Ash (Ashley Birks), who has really fitted in well with the Club, but we simply dont have acceptable standard riders around to replace him within the next twenty eight days and as the rules stand Steve Boxall only has two more guest appearances for us so this move has to happen for us to be at our strongest against Coventry and Poole. (source - Lakeside Website) Personally think Boxall will be a lot stronger esp around Lakeside. He will still miss less meetings. Meetings BIRKS would have missed: May: Coventry (H) Coventry (A) Poole (H) July: Belle Vue (H) Swindon (H) Aug: Leicester (A) Coventry (A) Meetings BOXALL will be missing: July: Swindon (A) Aug: Leicester (A) Poole (H)

INCOMING Robins number one Peter Kildemand has suffered a knee injury while practicing in Denmark. The GP first reserve, who comes into the Swindon side from Wednesday night as a replacement for injured Pole Adrian Miedzinski, was due to face off against 15 of his fellow countrymen in Holsted this evening in a bid to earn one of Denmarks six qualification places for the GP series. However, a suspected knee ligament injury suffered during practice on Thursday has ruled him out of the meeting, with scans later today set to determine the extent of the problem. At this moment its unclear for how long, if at all, the Dane will be out of action for. - See more at: http://totalswindonsport.com/2015/04/kildemandpicksupkneeinjury/#sthash.ekTQSOlP.dpuf

Be great to have him back 👍

Thanks for the update Neil. Glad to hear Robson is on the mend. Agree. Not the most respected rider amongst riders. Not great for team spirit
-
That's what I was wondering as they said last week that he was having a scan as leg still painful but no update since then.
-
Just a personal opinion. I don't rate Barker. As I mentioned above, our promoters have not given any indication that they are planning on making a change.
-
Petsonally not convinced either would be huge improvement on Robson esp around Brandon. Barker started the season very slowly and only just returning from injury. Also would miss missing due to PL commitments so would be back to same situation as now. Can't see our management replacing Robson. It would be nice to have an update on this scan or how long he will be out for though.
-
Can't see our management wanting MJJ after last season or him wanting to ride for us. Need commited riders
-
Not sure but can that be done if the injured rider you replaced no longer wants to ride for you and has informed the club before the replacement leaves? Swindon still have until after the world cup break in June to decide so no need to panic yet. (By then Poole might have a free rider due to Ward's return and Bjarne Pedersen should be available)
-
Does anybody have any idea how long Robson is due to be out for?

Full List Of Sky Sports Live Speedway 2015

That was posted a couple of weeks ago which is why less on it. The last 2 meetings on that list are no longer confirmed to be on and the PL meeting and the 1st June meeting have been added. I'm sure they will get round to changing it on their site soon. -
Think the fast track riders would be a bit out of their depths. But Lambert, Howarth and Lawson could do well from the experience.

Gutted for Olly Allen. Injury worse than first thought so now confirmed as our for the rest of the season 👎
-
Exactly esp when he qualified and beat the other riders. He earned his spot. The others will just have to try harder in the next qualifier.
