I thought he was riding less leagues this year as mentioned he's not riding in Poland. He wasn't selected in line up to ride in Sweden today with Dackarna (personally think this could be what the message is about although could be wrong) He posted something not long ago that implied he wasn't happy that Danish team have been selecting Larsen over him for test matches so that means his only guaranteed racing is in England. He was only saying a couple of weeks ago that he would like more meetings in the UK and that's why guesting so much. He does seem a bit down at the moment with regards to his problems on track. Needs the fans behind him.

I wondered the same. I know he was questioning if he should ride in Poland or not this year, a couple of weeks back. Hoping it's just that.
-
With the Swedish meeting being rained off today and rearranged for tomorrow, Will Wolves or Smederna get priority over PK? Yes. With Harris he will always give it 100% when guesting.

Unfortunately I think it will take more than Bridger to make this a play off team

Birds And The Bees (ok. Bees V Robins)
mdmc82 replied to full-throttle's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Somerset are not racing this Friday so Charles Wright will be riding for Swindon. Here's hoping Garrity's girlfriend doesn't go into labour then as we would be really stuck if all riders already elsewhere on draft. Lewis Rose has always been good at Brandon. Not sure about Charles Wright. -
Can only see a comfortable home win for King's Lynn

With Poole now without two key riders in Newman and Magic, Wolves now have a very good chance of winning this meeting. Think it will be close.

Birds And The Bees (ok. Bees V Robins)

IF both teams are at full strength then I think this meeting could go either way. I think Swindon will be the toughest team we face at Brandon as have a team of either ex bees or riders who are good at Brandon. -
Kyle Newman is out with an elbow injury so will be replaced by Charles Wright for this meeting. Chris Harris guests in place of Janowski.

Great win for Wolves. Proving people, including myself very wrong with our early predictions. If they can pick up some 4pt away wins then I think they have a good chance of staying in the top 4 Magic is a big miss for Poole at the moment. Any idea when he is back? It's good to see Holder scoring well as a second string but it now means Watt will likely struggle as a heat leader. People keep saying Poole will be hard to stop once Ward is back but it's not just one rider struggling (although I guess unless direct swap for Magic, two changes would need to be made to fit Darcy in anyway) -
Coventry V Lakeside 4th May 2015

Congratulations to Coventry Bees on another win and 3 points on the table. Great to see Sarjeant winning his first race back from injury and Harris getting a paid maximum. It's a shame the weather was bad but credit to both teams for getting it to heat 10 Things do look very worrying for Lakeside at the moment as last night they really did look a one man team. When lining up at the gates, Kim was the only one who looked likely to win a race. Batchelor didn't look interested either. Wright did try hard but it just didn't happen. What was with Peter Yorke? He kept announcing Boxall in races and saying it was good he was back even though everybody else in the stadium knew he wasn't riding. Then he said he hoped Lawson was okay after he fell (even though it was Ellis as Lawson wasn't even in that race) Surely it's time to get somebody new in to replace or support him who knows what they are doing. -

I don't think Batchelor needs practice on our track, usually rides it well anyway. Anyway the track never seems to be the same two weeks running lol. -

Where did you read it was a guest? Wouldn't be many suitable guests available as there's only Belle Vue & Swindon not riding. Nicholls average is too high, Batchelor is guesting for Lakeside so it only really leaves Zagar (who doesn't guest) and Kildemand -

The meeting preview on the Wolves website says Kyle Newman and Josh Bates will both be riding in this meeting. WOLVERHAMPTON: Freddie Lindgren, Jacob Thorssell, Tobiasz Musielak, Ricky Wells, Peter Karlsson, Lewis Blackbird, Josh Bates. POOLE: Maciej Janowski R/R, Davey Watt, Dakota North, Kacper Gomolski, Chris Holder, Lewis Rose, Kyle Newman. -

Lawson and Bech both scored 12 on their last visits to Brandon with Lakeside. Kennett knows the track well and Batchelor rides it very well. Whilst I think this should be a home win (if all our riders are scoring), I don't think it's going to be the huge win some are predicting. -

Sarjeant didn't get to test his fitness today at Glasgow as the meeting was rained off. Hopefully he will be okay to race tomorrow. -

Hopefully he's fit to ride as never nice to see a rider injured but even if he isn't, I really don't think Poole should be underestimated. They have several riders more than capable of winning races. Wolves have started the season well but they are not beating teams convincingly, usually just by a couple of points. I think this meeting could be very close. If Newman isn't riding then it would be advantage Wolves. However I think Poole should win the return meeting which will balance out the points. -

Berwick has now also been rained off. Does this mean Crang will be riding or is it too late to change? -
