The other 4 were still strong line up for them as they proved by winning it. Think they have some tough competition this year.

What a terrible interview. Even with his no 1 fans Tatum & Pearson trying to coax him in to the correct answer, he failed. No apology or admitting he had leant from his mistakes. He didn't see this as a last chance even after all the things he's done. Cocky and arrogant as always. People will still treat him like a god and he will still believe he is bigger than the sport, however with no remorse or even acknowledgement that he was in the wrong, it won't be long before something else happens. I don't remember Kennett being brought in to interview after his ban.

They had all their top riders riding last year in Perry, Clegg, Starke & Greaves

The 2 rider over 7 would rule Swindon out so would imagine Wolves, Leicester & maybe King's Lynn. Would have to be a silly team that would trust agent Ward against Poole in the play offs.

What the hell was Bjerre playing at on the TR, Harris faster but his own rider wouldn't let him by Think heat 7 has 5-1 wrote all over it. Doolan out of his depth Track is rutting up a lot -

King's Lynn look like a PL team tonight and also have Bjerre riding injured. They are going to not only miss Rory on the track but also as captain in the pits. -
👍🏻 When the rain got heavier before the meeting had even started and work was still being done on track we thought it would be rained off. When it was then announced there was no parade and they were just going to attempt to get meeting done, I did wonder how it could possibly go ahead with heavy rain and wind so strong they couldn't even keep the camera stands from blowing over or tyres moving on the greyhound track. It was clear from the beginning that it was never going to go more than 10 heats and that the conditions were dangerous.

Disagree with guests making them stronger. Josh is not a heat leader Whilst Rory scores well from a heat leaders position. Porsing had been using a new engine and his scores reflected this in his recent improvement, Bjerre is carrying an injury. Whilst Harris rides Poole well it's not at No 1, NKI is one of the best number 1s in the league. I feel for king's Lynn as once again their season has been hindered by injury. Luckily it's what happens in sep that really counts. Predict 52- 38 -

Doesn't like riding at number 1 was what it was meant to say. This should be a routine home win against a depleted King's Lynn. The away team are missing too many heat leaders in NKI & Rory. -
Was just wondering, with PL meetings the same day, which meetings get priority?

What respect did authorities show to the riders. You may disagree but I think safety should always come first. We were just lucky that we are not discussing a serious injury now. -
Brilliant unbiased post. Spot on

. I agree. Garrity seems to put himself under more pressure when sky are there for some reason as it's always those meetings he seems to fall or touch tapes in. He didn't get to the top of the reserve draft by falling off all the time. He got there because he is a good rider. I wouldn't want any other drafts than the ones we have. I wonder if all the riders that refused to race in the first SGP of the season got fined, when weather condition were much better than this
-
Spot on 👍🏻 good post that sums up well what should have been a huge meeting.

Holder says rain not a light drizzle. I'm not going to argue it as I was actually there and believe me you couldnt help but feel the rain & strong winds. It got heavier by heat 4 and the wind was an even bigger problem.
-
He said it should never have started, raining from heat 1. Not sure he would have wanted it to not start cos of drizzle as you put it. Weather was terrible by 7.20 and the wind was making the rain worse.

You must have been at a different meeting to me (and holder if you read what he said on Twitter)

This is a joke. No Porsing, No Iversen, No Rory and maybe no Bjerre. -
I was there and I promise you it wasn't light drizzle. It was coming down heavy and rain was making it worse.
-
I agree. Not sure why they are so keen to have a rider that hasn't raced for a while due to drinking too much and not considering the safety of others who let his team down. He's a ticking timebomb
-
He wanted meeting off so it was out of his hands. Luckily we are not listed as being on sky again so won't be able to dictate. I can't see any reason for fans to stay away. Coventry bees have been brilliant and had some great meetings.
-
The rain was just a drizzle and then very light against Lakeside so wasn't any need early on. The rain got heavier later on but still the times were okay and nobody was crashing. Last night was worst I have seen. Gale force winds and torrential rain. Never seen a meeting in EL, PL or SGP raced in those kind of weather conditions before.

Horton should have been allowed to call this meeting off and would have if it hadn't been on sky. Sky lose nothing whilst he loses lots of money and chance of points in a good meeting.
