I agree. I personally would only replace Robson if Zengi is available.

I really like Robson and he is a trier but he is a 4pt rider. If we could get in either of the above who both ride Brandon well and are capable of 8+ on our track as second strings then it would be madness not too. I guess we will have to wait and see. Zengota & Howarth both ride for Swindon at the moment

The rule is no official meeting can take place 7 days prior to the meeting. The Cardiff GP is not for over a week yet so he's fine. The same thing was suggested when Kelvin, Harris & Lambert tested engines before SWC but as it was a practice and not an official meeting it didn't count.

With the weather being bad and it looking like a sure rain off, the crowd could easily have been zero if sky hadn't been in town. IF the weather had been nice and the stadium had been packed as it usually is against Poole at £18 per person, then surely even you can work out that Horton would risk being at a loss if all those then only paid £5 each just to get a couple of hundred more through the gates (sigh)

Coventry's low attendance had nothing to do with price as even when televised, Coventry get large crowds against Poole. It was due to the terrible weather and people knowing in advance that the meeting would not go past heat 10 or possibly be on at all.

Latest Echo interview with Rosco. On his feedback from Ward, Rossiter added: He has given me no preference. He said he had a few people interested and that was how we left it. Quizzed on the possibility of Poole stopping Ward from riding for a title rival, Rossiter said: They could do if they wanted to. I dont think it would go down too well but I dont know. So as Nigel Pearsen said, Ward may still be undecided who he would like to go to and who Ford will let him go to so wouldn't rule Lakeside out just yet either.

May need to drop more than one rider The Daily Echo reported this afternoon that the Robins are close to completing a deal but, with the Rossiter needing to drop another member of their current 1-5, and replace him with a rider on a lower average, to fit him into their team, Rossiter insisted the loan move for Ward is still a fair way from being rubber-stamped. Yes, Ive enquired but its certainly not a done deal. Rossiter said. Its not as straight forward as dropping one rider out, Id have to make a couple of changes, so Id have to check and see who is available and have a look at the whole package. Its not as straight forward as it being done and dusted, we have a situation that we need to address and of course anyone would be interested in Darcy Ward because hes a special rider. If we are able to get him to come then we have the visa issue to look at too, which is a process we cant start until after his ban, so theres some work which is needed. I think Coventry & Poole look good to secure a play off place. I think King's Lynn will need to pick up in form away again but hopefully their new signing will help with this. I still see Swindon as being the 4th team in the play offs although this may depend on the team changes they make

A lot would depend who the replacement is for the rider they let go. Yes you would have a heat leader in ward but then would need a 4pt rider to replace Zengota He was very good at Poole for us and rides Brandon brilliantly

Not confirmed either are missing. Harris usually misses the practices when SGPs Practice isn't until lunchtime on the Saturday so if flights are available then I'm sure both will be there. Only rider that should be missing is Cook but imagine Zengi or Howarth will be his replacement

Great to see Harris lending Garrity his bike for the latter heats. Jason said his engine had completely gone which is why there was zero speed in the bike. It's a shame to not get 4pts but to get a draw when your top reserve has 3 bike retirements says something about our team 👍🏻
