  1. Might mean in top 5 as not sure how he could ride at reserve when riders like Garrity, Newman, Auty & Blackbird are said to be too strong. With regards to Steve Worrall even if in tier 2 you would only be able to protect 1 anyway so would lose the other.
  2. In the past when visiting with other teams or during Brandonapolis he has been one of the best riders at Brandon. Had a brilliant meeting against Leicester at the start of the season. It is very concerning how long it is taking to get the problems sorted. Surely somebody in his pit crew must have some idea what the problem is
  3. If Poole were going to strengthen or make changes then they would have brought Ward back. Unfortunately injuries can also play a big part in speedway, look at King's Lynn last year. Long way to go yet.
  4. Not if both teams are at full strength & Hans back on form. Think they would go for a team that hasn't beat them convincingly at home. We are only half way through the season so long way to go yet to determine who finishes top or makes top 4
  5. I think there have been some clever moves from Garrity on the last couple of occasions I have seen him esp when having to come from behind. I think a move to Coventry was the best thing for him and his progression. I would love to see Belle Vue in the play offs and meet them as have been so great meetings between the sides (however think Poole would pick them if finish top) However I still think Swindon may throw a spanner in the works there
  6. Havvy quote "I really feel for Hans. Theres no way any rider goes out there with the intention of not scoring points, but were all behind him 100 per cent. We win as a team together and we lose together, and we know hes the type of rider that if he tries something different his confidence could come back, and then bang. The other thing I will say is you normally expect on any given day your No.1 scoring double figures, so if Hans comes back and starts getting 10 points or so, then that makes us very strong indeed. We battled on Monday when Jason did his small-track engine and had to borrow bikes, we still got two points, and to come back like that tonight with a 5-1 in Heat 15 was sensational for the fans." I hope Hans comes good soon. We know what he's capable of. It's good when you can have your number 1 not score & have the best reserve in tier 2 missing and still get points away & win at home, however that won't always happen
  7. I noticed last night & Monday that even though Worrall was the strongest reserve & Stefan was struggling to score, Lemon still gave him his 4 rides instead of replacing him with Worrall in one. Very surprised.
  8. 👍🏻 spot on Very true. I expected big scores from Nicholls but he really struggled. Could tell he was trying but like Hans he just had no speed.
  9. Blah Blah BlahWe all know you dislike Garrity (and most things Coventry) so he can never do any right in your eyes. The lads talented and had a great meeting tonight. Amazing with the fans And a great team man in the pits as well.
  10. No worse than Josh trying to fence King, lucky he didn't get hurt "Comments: Josh with a far far worse move on king and Attempted on Joonas then Garrity but Bee's boys didn't throw it on the floor like Belle Vue" Caught up with silverbee's updates. Brilliant 😂 Read more: http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/14637/coventry-belle-vue-el-30pm#ixzz3eDLLt5wH
  11. We said the same coming out. There was a bit of everything tonight. Two strong teams with riders showing commitment. Seemed more atmosphere tonight as well. It's a shame sky are never present for meetings like this. Let's hope both teams can make the play offs 👍🏻 With regards to your post JamieE, I may be wrong but didn't a rule come in that gates are to stay closed and riders to return to the tapes in a restart. If the rider leaves the track they are excluded?
  12. Surprised as most of the time he doesn't seem that bothered about riding in this one
  13. I agree Gater. Hans isn't the only number 1 to have had a tough time. We know he is capable of scoring double figures. It's not just in the EL either, he's struggled in the SEC and abroad leading to him not being selected by his Swedish club. The problem is how long will it take to find the problem with the bikes and the right mind frame. Nicholls also had a very poor meeting tonight on his parent track We have been lucky so far as even without Sarjeant & Hans we have still been winning so credit to the other riders but that won't always be the case. Listening to Sarjeant speaking tonight and the troubles he's still having with his arm, I would be surprised if he's back next week so going to need Hans to step up against Wolves. Not sure why we make the track so dusty at the beginning of the last couple of meetings.
  14. He was at Brandon tonight and said although his ribs are hurting, it's his arm that's causing the most problems. He keeps getting a dead arm and then pain.
  15. Didn't Hans poor performance almost give Belle Vue the points to help keep Swindon out the top 4 😂
  16. That was very nervy. Brilliant heat 15 from JK & Harris to secure the win. The only positive is we had our number 1 only score 1 point and still won. Hans form is very worrying but anybody who watched him in the SEC will see it's not just here he isn't scoring. Summers was a brilliant guest for Belle Vue.
  17. There's been showers on and off this afternoon, just had one now. Only enough to make the path damp so nothing to worry about . Sun has been out as well. Very humid
  18. But his 28 day contract surely would have come to an end so it should have been Adrian back or 28 day ban for him. Kildemand always made it clear to Swindon that he didn't want to ride any longer than the 28day injury cover.
  19. But Adrian wasn't injured last week. He's been riding in Poland for a couple of weeks now and rode in Czech league. He didn't want to ride in the UK. Kildemand also definitely not injured so he should have been riding or PL rider last week. No wonder people are getting confused.
  20. Brilliant result for King's Lynn and good to see them firing again. Lakeside have lost all 8 of their away fixtures so very poor away from home. Next week will give King's Lynn an idea of how much improvement there has been in the team. Lakeside need changes and fast. I can see why they are hoping for Ward to join now.
  21. No I'm thinking of his season with King's Lynn (never mentioned a particular meeting) However as you mentioned he did at times struggle on our track & to beat Stefan which is why Sarjeant being missing makes this fixture a lot harder for the bees. However it is good of him to guest. Fingers crossed he has a good meeting
  22. Poole have already confirmed Ward isn't riding for them. The one club is Swindon
