  1. Nobody is talking about straight after the race (sigh) both riders were angry then. It was after the meeting. I take it you stayed late then if you had time once the meeting had finished to sit and listen to the two riders when they sat and talked.
  2. He was after 4 heats each. After heat 18 he moved down. He came out and win his last race so is through to the final 😃 (2,2,2,R,3)
  3. No tough line up. 9th now with one more race to go 😁
  4. Big blow for Harris to have a retirement after being in the top 7 for most of the meeting with 2,2,2. Big ask now
  5. Glasgow really missed Sarjeant and both reserves tonight
  6. I think this should be a win for Robins. There best chance of an away win
  7. @Speedway_App: The jury decided to move the start of the first heat to 9.45 pm ... With another track evaluating at 9.30
  8. Not a lot of riders available to guest for Sarjeant on Monday.
  9. Sorry didn't see. Only just seen it on time line @Speedway_App: Latest news from Italy. Meeting is postponed to 9pm with another jury meeting at 8.45 to evaluate the track conditions. Still raining ...
  10. @Speedway_App: Startlist update: Tobias Kroner didn't show up due to medial issues so his place at no. 12 will take @BellegoD
  11. Phil isn't talking about straight after heat 13 when both riders adrenalin & tempers were high. He's talking about later in the night. This has also been confirmed by his mechanic
  12. It will be good to see Coventry Storm at home. Can't believe it will be July before we have a home meeting
  13. That means if he had been allowed to leave the track he would have been excluded. Glad bees won it with that brilliant last heat 5-1 rather than with a rider excluded.
  14. Going to be tough for Leicester with Wilkinson guesting at reserve in place of Auty. Other teams have picked up full away wins at Leicester this season, Swindon should definitely be looking for all 4pts.
  15. Garrity yes every home meeting. Come and join us. You missed a great meeting last night
  16. @OfficialCovBees: Thanks to everyone for a great atmosphere last night - and also big thanks to @Rose822 for standing in so well for Sarj! I really hope that the rest of the meetings this season can also have that kind of atmosphere as was electric last night when in past weeks it's been very subdued even though winning. Belle Vue fans are often good for friendly banter. Let's hope the track produces more of the passes like we saw last night. Harris is worth the admission alone on nights like that. If Zagar could ride other away tracks like he does Brandon then I think Belle Vue would be able to make top 4. Fingers crossed he can produce more like last night
  17. SARJ COLLECTION TOTAL Saturday June 27, 2015 A COLLECTION for Coventry's James Sarjeant at the meeting on Friday raised a terrific total of £627.62 This gave James a very pleasant surprise and both he and the club would very much like to thank supporters for their generosity. View Full Site @jamessarjeant3: Thanks to everyone at Coventry for your kind donations it's a big help and all goes back into my racing 🐝🏆 @OfficialCovBees A nice act of kindness from the winner of the 50-50 draw who contributed £41.50 of his winnings 👍🏻
  18. Still need to have a second reserve to back him up. He's not always going to have a good night as we saw Monday. When your 2nd reserve doesn't do well it makes it harder as we saw when we had Mountain & Greenwood guesting. Swindon need Rosco & the team to put time in with the reserves and help get them riding to their potential. Greaves claimed there was no support given last year but not sure how much of that was true as Rosco said it was more a case that he wouldn't listen. Don't see anybody doing the average game. We already could make changes as have points spare but think even when Swindon release Zengota or Howarth we won't. Think somebody needs to tell Hans that SEC & Sweden don't count towards his EL average if that's the case lol. The term "people in glass houses" comes to mind. Batchelor got his average down so Ward could come in, wake up
  19. Coventry were without Sarjeant last night. It was your reserve that scored against Worrall & Stefan
  20. Lewis Rose rode well last night when guesting for Coventry. Garrity team rode him to a 5-1 in heat 2 and then he fought hard for his points in the other races. Swindon are going to need him picking up his form as Wright is now at the bottom of the tier 1 list and due to miss 3 meetings next month (Leicester H&A, Lakeside A) and August (Poole A & Cov A) which makes guest choices harder.
  21. Yes did wonder the same. Maybe it was because Rose had just had good rides but Garrity much stronger so would have still put him in.
  22. I'm glad Harris decided to ride for Coventry last night instead of making the trip to Italy. He was brilliant to watch esp his last to firsts and in the heat 15 when he gated. I hope he has a good meeting tonight in the SGP qualifiers Any more news on his testimonial? I don't think a handful of bees fans on a forum like this constitutes "bees fans" in general. I have seen support for him on other social sites. He's not the first rider to struggle. Holder had a shocking start to season & dropped to no 2 & Zagar/Lindgren are hit & miss. It's the length of Han poor spell that's the concern. Anyway why would you want to get rid of Josh, I thought he was riding well for you?
