  1. No play off finals this year. The top 4 will race each other in a golden cup competition. Not sure why somebody has quoted it as being Eastbournes now to lose. Birmingham may be without Perry but it still shouldn't affect the rest of the team strength with Zach & Ellis able to take an extra ride. Cradley are the nearest team to Birmingham in the league and Coventry still haven't ridden at home so have all their home fixtures to come.
  2. I take it Scottyfan is currently looking at replacements for Newman who had a very poor night and Davey Watt after his last places & only counting 3 laps in this meeting 😂. North & Gomoski did a good job
  3. Goes to show it was rubbish about only wanting to ride in one league.
  4. What a ride by Robert Lambert!!! Race of the night. Good win for King's Lynn. Poole put up a good fight and deserved something from this meeting. I'm surprised there was no interview with Middlo after heat 15
  5. Bjerre has been terrible but king's Lynn's reserves haven't been strong enough to replace him. Poole have this in the bag
  6. Bad luck for King's Lynn in heat 13 Why another interview with Middlo?
  7. Good ride by North. Disaster for Iversen there. Poole riders and manager keep going on about King's Lynn giving them different track on each visit. Surely that's more frustrating for the home team as gives them no advantage of always different
  8. Poole could pull right back here against Bjerre & Malik. Bjerre must be a huge worry for King's Lynn
  9. I know. Not sure why he needs interviewing so many times. This is more like the Davey Watt I'm used to seeing although even I'm surprised he couldn't count 4 laps. At least he wasn't beating anybody when he did it so didn't affect the score.
  10. Tactical time already for Poole 😱 However should get a advantage here against a very poor Bjerre
  11. He's terrible. King's Lynn might as well be without a rider. Newman having a nightmare so far
  12. Suspected food poisoning. Seems to be happening a lot lately. I remember Hans riding for the bees last year at Lakeside with food poisoning and top scored. Was sick after every race. I don't envy the riders having to race in this heat
  13. Poole could still be fine. Coventry have had there no 1 only scoring 1point and still won meetings so it can be done. Will need the rest of the team to step up.
  14. Somebody seriously needs to tell Hans then that sec & Swindon didn't count towards averages 😂 Unlike Swindon who had Ward waiting whilst they fiddled their averages enough to get Him in to the team, Coventry have never had another rider waiting as although the fans could see a change would make sense, Havvy & Horton seem very happy to stick with Robson
  15. Bees already had enough to fit Howarth or hopefully Zengota in. Not convinced Horton will make any changes.
  16. Not sure tonight's result would have a huge bearing for the other teams on who they meet
  17. The team spirit this year seems even better than last year. If you look in to the pits at Brandon they are always cheering each other on before & after races and all come out to watch their team members during races. If a rider comes off, they can often all be seen helping with bikes or new tear offs. Garrity has a positive effect in the pits and Havvy doing a great job.
  18. Look on Glasgow website. Seems he was just a bit shaken and watched the rest of the meeting from the pits
  19. King's Lynn had a very convincing win over Lakeside but Lakeside are very poor away from home and one of the 3 teams in the league still to record an away win (Swindon & Leicester being the other 2) Tonight will give more of an idea as to how strong or back in form King's Lynn are as Poole will not be an easy opposition esp with track specialists in Holder & Janowski. I think this could go either way with a lot depending on Bjerre,Porsing and Gomoski. On paper this should be a good one for sky to show after some of their recent choices
  20. Summers was one of the only men not to end up on the shale, and he said: The track was a little bit iffy to start off with there was a fair bit of dirt on the entry to the corners and we were trying to get that sorted out a little bit. - See more at: http://www.glasgowtigers.co/a-long-summers-night/#sthash.AhTh9EZ2.dpuf
  21. Nick Morris withdrew from the Glasgow meeting tonight after his fall.
  22. Belle Vue V Lakeside next week looks very one sided as well
