  1. I'm very surprised that Poole charge for children under 10 years old to get in. With every other club it is free. (wolves £1)
  2. I thought the same. It's the Aussie temper striking again. Has Auty's injury been confirmed anywhere?
  3. Will Kerr be fit for next weeks meetings? Any updates on him? I think a lot will depend on which Zagar & Bjerre turn up as both could make a big difference. Also Cook's EL form is often a lot poorer than his PL one. I think King's Lynn should be strong enough at home (but I'm hoping the rain behaves and Belle Vue can get the points on Monday)
  4. Can't see us making a change. Havvy is good friends with Robson and I think it will be a case of heart over head. He looked better at home but that was against a poor Wolves side. When we could get somebody in for 6.6pts, it's madness not to.
  5. He easily won heat 2 and would have picked up important points over Birmingham's reserves and Wilson along the way. He was the strongest of our reserves so yes, he was a loss
  6. Interestingly those with me tonight that I took to their first NL meeting said it would be okay now and then for a change but how it misses the excitement and quality of the ELThat said they agreed that it's great to see Birmingham back racing regardless of which league they are in.
  7. That's how it should be. No one rider should think they are bigger than the team, even more so if it's a rider who's lucky to be offered a team place after a ban
  8. Sadly judging by the recent display I witnessed by wolves (and with Blackbird missing) Poole could go out with a 6 man team and still get 4pts. I feel for Wells & PK as they have shown how well they can ride as 2nd strings, however they are out of their depth as heat leaders esp at no 1
  9. Bad news for Leicester. Suspected broken arm for Josh Auty on his return from injury
  10. Crowd was quite good although seemed to be more Away fans than home. I think having Coventry in both leagues does effect attendance as people choose their meetings.Good to see a lot of Birmingham fans
  11. Gutted for Josh Auty. Has only just returned from injury and was having a great meeting and then he is injured again. Very sad to hear another rider may have done in on purpose. If true he should face a ban, the sport doesn't need riders like that
  12. Congratulations Birmingham on the win. Unlucky for Storm to lose Dwyer so early on but did well to still take it to a last heat decider. Even with it being close it wasn't one of the most entertaining meetings I've seen. Only really Ellis & Knuckey offering any real racing without coming off. The rest was mainly from the gate. Surprised in some ways that Ellis is still riding NL as there is a huge difference between the EL & NL and he is doing well in the EL. It's great to see Birmingham Brummies back racing. I hope one day we see them back in the EL
  13. Lewis Rose has been replaced by Newcastle http://www.newcastlediamonds.co/news/article.asp?id=100426
  14. How long was Rose likely to have been out for?
  15. This will be a big away win & 4points for Poole. Wolves riders sadly look very low on confidence and the team is made up of 1 heat leader in poor form and four 2nd strings. Blackbird is signed off with back pains so major doubt for this meeting. Wolves have lost nine of their last ten meetings 34-56
  16. This will definitely be Coventry's hardest home meeting of the season, shame it has to be their first. Birmingham have been the stand out team and the strongest team In the league. They have not lost a meeting yet which says it all. I think this will be a Birmingham win tonight. I just hope there are more Coventry fans attending than there was at the fours. Yes I know we have two leagues to support Coventry in put with bees not having a home fixture for a couple of weeks, hopefully more will come along.
  17. Lewis Blackbird has been signed off with back problems http://www.peterboroughpanthers.co/news.php?extend.2562.2
  18. Well said 👍🏻 the wind was also a huge problem with sky having to use large blocks of wood to keep cameras from blowing over. As Kelvin said, Wind can effect bike control & visibility as much as rain. We had both. What some other Poole fans are missing is we aren't blaming Poole. It is Sky,GSI or who ever else forced this meeting to go a head even though it had rained heavy Sunday & rained Monday throughout the day. The track was not even checked before heat 10 so how could it be deemed safe to ride when not checked. Yet when it was finally checked only a couple of minutes after riders got fined for refusing to go out it was deemed dangerous. Surely that proved Havvy's point.
  19. Reports from Torun are that Ward wanted to dictate that he started every meeting and they told him that they choice the team, not him which he didn't like. It seems he wanted to ride more meetings and this would have put Holder's position at risk. Sounds like Ward is twisting the truth already
  20. Are Robet Lambert or Lewis Kerr likely to be back for this meeting?
  21. A go fundme has been set up (by fans) for anybody who would like to show their support to the riders & club and donate towards the fines the SCB has shamefully handed out. Riders safety should always come first http://tw.gofund.me/zjgz8s
