  1. Wolves should be another 4points. Think King's Lynn will be a hard place for Swindon. However every chance you could get something when come to Brandon as you have riders that ride well there. However on 21st against Coventry you will be without Wright, Rose and possibly Morris so could depend on what guests you get & Kcrmar form by then.
  2. Sorry to hear that. Hope your up and on the mend soon 👍🏻
  3. Its Elite League action again at the Jordan Road Surfacing Stadium on Saturday and another intriguing contest is in prospect as the Lions and the Lakeside Hammers battle it out for the match points. The visitors will be at the end of a hectic schedule as the fixture at Leicester will be their fifth meeting in six days! With both Andreas Jonsson and Kim Nilsson racing back home in the Swedish Final, the Hammers bring in the Coventry top gun, Hans Andersen who guested for them the last time they were at Leicester in April scoring 15 points. Nilssons absence will be covered by rider replacement and they have plenty of talent to call upon to cover for him as each team member is eligible for a ride. At reserve is Richard Hall, the first captain in the new era of the Lions who replaces the injured Ashley Birks. Meanwhile, Leicester are covering for their three injured riders with Thomas Jorgensen replacing Sam Masters and they bring in two of last seasons Lion Cubs, James Sarjeant and Dan Greenwood at reserve who replace Josh Auty and Simon Lambert. Teams Leicester: 1. Jason Doyle, 2. Thomas Jorgensen, 3. Grzegorz Walasek, 4. Szymon Wozniak, 5. Piotr Swiderski, 6. James Sarjeant and 7. Dan Greenwood Lakeside: 1. Hans Andersen, 2. Mikkel Bech, 3. Edward Kennett, 4. Richard Lawson, 5. Rider Replacement for Kim Nilsson, 6. Richard Hall and 7. Adam Ellis Edited: Mikkel Bech ruled out due to hand injury. Guest to be confirmed
  4. I think he needs them 😉 Joking aside I think he could be a good guest as has done well when guesting for Swindon. Other options available for Swindon would be Nicholls, Cook, Milik or Karlsson. Lakeside is Zengota's worst away track so they are going to need the rest scoring well. Imagine Lakeside will use RR as all the riders can then take Kim's rides.
  5. Thanks Crazy Robin. Good to hear from somebody who was there 👍🏻
  6. Going to be a case of who booked best available guests first with guests needed for Roynon,Wright and Rose. Also guests or RR needed for Morris and Kim.
  7. This should be a home win. Swindon are the only team that Lakeside have taken any points from this year but Swindon should do enough esp with Hans guesting. Kcrmar's scores must be a bit of a worry. However can somebody who has actually watched him live tell me is he competitive with the other riders in the race as updates only give that he came last, not if he was on the pace. Predict 52-38 Let's hope he has a safe night tonight. 👍🏻
  8. Paul Starke guests in place of Ashley Birks
  9. Congratulations Belle Vue although they made hard work of it. Another 3 points in the play off race. Lakeside did well to keep it close for so long esp when you look at the reserve pairing they had to use.
  10. Swindon had more than one heat win. Batchelor won 1 and Hans won 2 Congratulations to Poole. Holder seems to have refound his form and confidence.
  11. Surprised to see Ward having a poor night at his best track. Not won a race. He looked super fast yesterday in Sweden 😉
  12. Lakeside look like they could be heading for their first away win.
  13. Why was it called off when updates say that 3 riders were at the tapes ready to race and it was only Doyle not wanting to? If it had been on sky then Doyle would have been fined and it would have been made to continue
  14. Poole was one of Zengota's best away tracks when with Coventry. He scored 12 on his last visit and is in even better form this year.
  15. That was against a poor wolves side. There have been several riders that have got maximums against them. Swindon are going to be a lot harder.
  16. Poole have been very strong at home this season,Having only lost once against Coventry. Will Swindon be the second team to win there? I think this will be very close & Swindon should at least get a point. Poole will need Holder & North back on form
  17. Good luck to David. Thanks for the memories and good luck in the future. 👍🏻
  18. I thought that was also the reason why Stefan can't ride for Coventry Storm?
  19. That's good then. Wasn't sure if they used his EL average. If possible and Robson's out then he would be a brilliant guest. He's in good form.
  20. Janowski & Ward will be at Poole next year. Ward will want to be with a team that are most likely to win and as much as I am not a fan of Poole, they do make the play offs & often the final most years and put together strong teams. He also has a strong friendship with Middlo & Ford and has stated himself Poole is where his heart is. Swindon unfortunately have a question mark over their stadium. They often have to battle to try and make the play offs and have very few league titles. The only pull being his friendship with Morris & Batchelor (if they are there next year) The fact Ward is currently torn if he has to face Poole in the play offs already answers the question of where he will want to be. That said Ward will want to show Poole what they are missing tonight so should score well.
  21. Lol 👍🏻 easily done GRW123 SCB, summers would be great if a guest is needed but I thought he was too high?
  22. I take it then that Glasgow's latest signing will be able to replace Morris in the line up now they have only 3 other top 5 riders available?
  23. I'm confused? We are talking about Robson and riders possibly needed that ride Brandon well (confused by the bit about Sarjeant & AFA?) Not a lot of good guests available for Robbo's average even with the home 5%.
  24. I agree that Coventry are bound to be looking at both this & the away fixture against King's Lynn with one eye on the play offs. We went to King's Lynn last time and only lost by 8pts against a team with Rory and with us using Conor Mountain at reserve and JK having EF whilst on a TR so I think we might pick them out of possible teams. I think the Swindon home & away meetings will also have a big say in who we pick in the play offs. If Belle Vue make it then I've no doubt we would pick them as it's our best away track. However with there still being 7 meetings left, there are no guarantees that Poole won't finish top. As for this meeting it should be close. We will need King firing again. It should be closer at reserve with Kerr V Garrity and although Sarjeant would usual be able to beat Morris with ease at Brandon, his current form is a bit of a worry. Does anybody know if Robson is riding after his crash on Monday?
