Coventry V Swindon - 21/08/2015

I have seen 4 different forecasts and none of them say the same which isn't helpful, although 3 predict showers and sun at some point. http://m.bbc.co.uk/weather/cv8/tomorrow http://m.accuweather.com/en/gb/brandon/dh7-8/hourly-weather-forecast/323094?day=2 http://m.uk.weather.com/10day/UKEN4060:1:UK http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/mobile/forecast/gcqfjehkn -
King's Lynn V Coventry Wed 19th August

He finds the guests Robson's 4pt average will allow. Madness when you think a 6pt rider would be like another heatleader but Horton/Havvy are happy to keep their head in the clouds. If we had just scrapped in to the play offs it would be one thing, but after being top 99% of the season, it's worse that they are now going to throw it away when we do have points spare. -

He has a back injury from Denmark last week. He made it worse falling tue and had treatment all morning. He was fit to ride but then jarred it again riding last night. -

Nigel said Rob was on the phone making a complaint to the ref. Losing king made us weaker so not sure why anybody would choose to lose a rider esp when we already had Garrity injured and only one fall away from withdrawing. I think it's sad that some people would rather see a rider ride in agony than withdraw. -

With regards to people saying riders shouldn't be able to pull out of a meeting if whilst riding they aggravate a injury, were you not at Brandon on King's Lynn's recent trip? Robert Lambert withdrew after aggravating a previous injury and Coventry didn't make a fuss. -
Blackbird still suffering with injury. With us having injuries to King & Garrity already, it's always risky having riders guesting

Easy 4pt win for Poole before a wheel is turned. Terrible line up for the Lakeside fans on what could be their last meeting at this track 😕

Lol don't even joke about it. 🙈😱Robson is hoping to be back Friday although as much as I like the guy, he's not going to be able to beat any of Swindon's top 5. King's away form may be inconsistent but at Brandon he has been very good. Will have to be one hell of a cherry pick to replace him if out. -

If excluding Garrity then he deemed the race fine so can't exclude James as well for jumping the start (which replays prove he didn't) it's one or the other https://mobile.twitter.com/keithski24/status/634111717501444096 When was he meant to have jumped? The tapes were up before he even moved. The ref said he would look at footage after the meeting! What's the point of doing it then? -

But how was Garrity rightfully excluded if the race was deemed an unsatisfactory start? It would have meant it was called back if Sarjeant was excluded? How often do we see all 4 back for that type of first bend incident. Garrity stayed on his line and there was no where for either to go. Very harsh. -
Jesus, is that the best Lakeside can do at reserve!! Hughes was shocking last time. I take it Ashley Morris is riding for play off rivals Swindon tomorrow then? Surely even Greenwood or Ritchings would have been better than Hughes.

That's the bonus sometimes of guests if you get the right ones. Lindgren made a huge difference for king's Lynn last night when Milik had hardly been scoring. I can't see King's Lynn rushing him back. I still think Swindon will be strong enough throughout the team to take the win and king's Lynn will just miss out on a point. Haha you definitely had a extra man last night 🙈👓😴

Exactly. Don't get me wrong, King's Lynn deserved the win although NKI and their guest in Lindgren won it for them. However when you look at it Coventry beat themselves. Harris coming off when moving on to a 5-1, Hans fencing JK, Sarjeant hitting the tapes. The ref then made it worse with the most ridiculous double exclusion I've ever seen. Even Nigel & Tatum seemed shocked and would have put all four back. I do believe over two legs with their full teams, without star guests and riders riding injured, Coventry can beat Belle Vue or King's Lynn. However to beat Poole or Swindon over two legs we need more strength in our top 5, as at the moment it looks weak. -

Blackbird and Clegg are both riding for PL clubs. Riders not racing elsewhere are Ashley Morris, Dan greenwood, Tom Perry, Daryl Ritchings, James Wright, Looking at the shocking choice of guests Lakeside have tomorrow night against Poole, I imagine Swindon are using Ashley Morris to replace Charles Wright otherwise surely Lakeside would have used him. I imagine it will be Daryl Ritchings or Dan Greenwood for Branford esp with it being their home track this year. If Sarjeant goes through the tapes, they could both beat him off 15m. What's more frustrating is as he showed the start of yesterday's meeting, he is a very good rider and has proven before he's capable of beating not only tier 1 riders but also 2nd strings. At the moment the only person he's beating is himself. -

Hopefully Garrity can get through tomorrow's meeting at Sheffield without falling and making it worse. 🙏 Lindgren and Walasek would be good guest options if Hans (and possibly king) are out. -
Thanks Neil. Hoping to be at them all with the exception of this Sunday as away. Would be a cracker as well. The last Storm meeting against King's Lynn and Stoke produced some great racing esp from Knuckey

Thank you, that's what we are saying thay he aggregated the injury in tonight's meeting which is why he withdrew. I have only seen a couple of meetings from king's Lynn this year but noticed it has become very gate and go. Is it always like that as have seen more racing at Leicester this year than here? -

If that was the case he still couldn't exclude Garrity as he had deemed the race as an unsatisfactory start by excluding Sarjeant. However whichever angle they showed the replay from, at no time did it show Sarjeant jump the start. -

And using Lindgren for a rider who's not injured isn't?King's Lynn were made stronger tonight than they will be when they have Lambert & Milik back for play offs. King is a much better rider than Hans or Kus at King's Lynn and Garrity was already in pain so why would we withdraw King otherwise. Would you rather see him race and make it even worse. -

Swindon missing Wright & Branford. Coventry missing Hans, King and possibly Robson. We will have to hope Garrity is okay as well as in a huge amount of pain tonight and he still had tomorrow night to get through first. No. Said he's having a few days off -

He looked to have speed in his earlier heat. Was doing okay until fenced by Hans.
