  1. Completely agree with Woz01 Did Horton see the number of fans leaving at the interval or here the comments from fans about it looking like game over already? Watching is race tonight, can the management honestly say they don't think we need to strengthen to stand any chance in the play offs? The management in my opinion made a mistake not signing Summers in the form he has been in this season but the question is with riders like Dudek or even Howarth wanting an EL place, are we just going to sit back and see out the season? Those mentioning Barker, he got a full 12 point max tonight on his return to racing
  2. Summers & Howarth both know the tracks well and I think both would are better than Robbo. Summers scored 9 on the visit before. He was unwell when he scored 1. Walasek didn't score as I thought he would. Hans Andersen came 3rd in the Danish Final tonight.
  3. We have simply been out classed tonight by a better team. After the season we have had, it was Sad to see people leaving at the interval, very disappointed and looking deflated Two questions 1. Do those who said it was a silly idea when I suggested replacing Robson with Summers still think that? 2. Does Watson & co still think we don't need to strengthen at no 2? All in all that was the worst bees performance I have seen in a long while and without a change and improvement in form, we will just be making up the numbers. Well done to Danny Ayres who put up a good fight. Really concerning watching Sarjeant as he looks a shadow of the rider he was last season.
  4. RR for Robson without Garrity to take them, when we could have signed a 6pt rider. Where are the cherry pick of guests you were telling us about Watson? Hope King is up to it though as risky when already using RR. Otherwise maybe Howarth could have been an option. Predict 36-54
  5. We have Garrity, Robson, Hans & King missing. There isn't much of the team left. If you look at my recent posts, please can you show me where I have said he is a massive rider for Coventry? If anything I have said he is struggling for form. Also I have mentioned several times when weaker riders have been used for riders high on the draft that it's a mockery (look at Lakeside tonight) The worst part today isn't just the guest, even worse is the lack of communication from the club.
  6. Our management had a good idea Garrity was injured Wed. However I suggest they stop with the secrecy and let the fans know who they have guesting Close 😂😂😂😂😂 I take it you know who's guesting for King & Robson as well then?
  7. Lol. Can't wait to see him in races against Swindon's 2nd string. The draft is a joke when you have to replace a rider near the top of tier 1 with a rider at the bottom of tier 2. At least Swindon have a tier 1 guest for Wright
  8. If that was the case they would have announced it. Poor from the management when nothing confirmed either way. The meeting starts in 2 and a half hours so they must know now. Wonder why no Ashley Morris? Not from 15 metres though and now he will put himself under more pressure. Garrity would have been able to beat summers
  9. If that is the case than you can see why no team news announced! I'm a season ticket holder and even I would consider sitting it out. Would have been better to use our own rider in Shuttleworth than Ayers.
  10. My friend and her sister live in In Halesowen so not too far, however they have now decided to give it a miss as the silence from the promotion this near to the meeting can only mean bad news.I imagine there are a lot who will feel the same. Why pay £18 and find out the team as you enter the stadium.
  11. That's the thing, there is no team news on the official website!
  12. Poole are Swindon's biggest threat. We are not strong enough in our top 5.
  13. Even the Swindon press release says Coventry have injury concerns over several riders, which suggests nothing was confirmed on who was riding. I imagine what's taking so long is they have left it to check if King or Garrity are fit to ride today and they have said no which means they are now trying to find guests. With no riders left on the draft (except Morris who might not be allowed to guest even though Sarjeant guested for King's Lynn yesterday) we may now be asking to add a lower rider to it. As for the Robson situation, there was always a chance he would be out so surely they had a guest on standby? It has the feel of one of those meetings where the results known really before it starts and it's just about getting it out of the way. Imagine a lot of travelling Coventry fans will leave it, as no team news. Could be a low crowd tonight
  14. And do you honestly see us winning the play offs? Yes it's good to be in them but unless your competitive then you are just really making up numbers. As for 2nd that's not even guaranteed.
  15. Yes Wright for Wright and Shuttleworth for Branford. Does that mean we could be the team with only 6 riders? If a change had been made then we wouldn't have to be searching the PL for 4pt riders to cover Robson 😕
  16. Shuttleworth announced for Swindon. It's Coventry who are struggling to find guests.
  17. Exactly esp when the draft options are already limited with riders missing through injury or the amount of fixture clashes on a Friday night.
  18. Garrity is one of the best riders in the draft and averaging 7+ in the EL & 8+ in the PLImposdible to replace. Shuttleworth is confirmed as riding for Swindon.
  19. Lakeside finish their home fixtures tonight but still have away fixtures to ride
  20. Rides for Coventry Storm. Got a feeling it's not as if that's the case Swindon would have announced it as one NL rider guesting for another. Surely King's Lynn would let Coventry use Ashley Morris if against Swindon?
  21. Robert Shuttleworth is one his way to Brandon after a late call up!! If he's in place of Garrity as suspected then you can see why they have not announced the team 😕
  22. You know what, this season I have looked forward to our meetings but this one I would think twice about going to if not for the fact I had s season ticket. We started with so much potential and have had a good season but have been very poor of late. It's a shame that such a strong season is falling apart at the worst time 👎🏻 My friends who went to the king's Lynn meeting at Brandon had originally been looking forward to tonight's meeting but they said not much point if no team so they are thinking of going out instead.
  23. Roughing somebody up as you put it wouldn't put somebody out for the season.
  24. If they were making changes then they would have done a couple of weeks ago when Robson got injured but instead we have been told by Neil Watson that we don't need a 6pt rider because we have the cherry pickings of the 4pt riders. Can't wait to see who tonight's is
