  1. Tuesday September 29, 2015 BELOW is an SCB statement regarding the abandoned Coventry v Poole fixture and subsequent hearing and ACU appeal. Further to the Press Release issued on 16th July 2015 the SCB wish to advise the following. The Coventry Promotion, as was their right lodged an Appeal to the Auto-Cycle Union. Whilst preparing for the Appeal Hearing, the SCB realised that at the SCB Courts Disciplinary Hearing, a flaw was spotted concerning the composition of the SCB Court in that it did not fully comply with the 2015 Speedway Regulations. Following internal discussions the SCB agreed with the ACU, that the Appeal Hearing should not take place and that the Appeal Fee paid by Coventry should be returned. Regarding the £3000 fine imposed by the SCB Court, at the Hearing held on Thursday 9th July should be quashed, although the fines imposed by the Meeting Referee would stand as these had been correctly imposed; the Court had merely endorsed their agreement of the Meeting Referees actions.
  2. Agree. Belle Vue our scored Poole 14-4 in the last couple of heats once the track settled. Imagine the lead they could have taken if their track had been as they usually have it when sky aren't there
  3. Wow what a fightback by Belle Vue. Their reserves only scored 3 whilst Poole's scored 18 and yet still a draw. (Would have been a win If able to protest the googles) Craig Cook & Zagar have been amazing.
  4. Why's the track always different when Sky are there? No home advantage for Belle Vue
  5. Can honestly say I have never met you. An account on other social media does not proof that your not KKS or any of the other Poole fans who joined exactly the same time. You don't have to delete an account to not use the site.
  6. I think it's only those that are trying to defend last weeks cheating by Poole that can't see that. Sadly we all knew he would be back for one of the few tracks he can ride.
  7. Of course he has. He's one of Pooles strongest riders on the track. Kennett was stronger at Poole than North. Simple! Oh dear, you weren't gone for long. Did you get fed up as posting as KKS. Although now you think about it he wasn't around much whilst you were gone either 😉
  8. I would be happy using our asset AJ at number 1
  9. It would definetely be the right decision if he doesn't as clearly very far from fit. You can understand him trying to race yesterday as so close to the bronze Medal position but he seems to be making the injury worse.
  10. Congratulations to Chris Harris on breaking the track record tonight 👍🏻 @Ad_Royno4: Awesome to work with @BomberHarris37 tonight at the GP.. good to see him get the track record and get to the semi's!👌 http://t.co/9dPBfznXOw
  11. Zagar looks far from fit in the GP. Struggling so far even off the favoured gate 😕 0,2,0,0 Not looking competitive
  12. How many meetings in the series this year have been predictable with all the wins coming from the same gates. Zagar looks far from fit
  13. IF it is proven, I take it you will be apologising to Coventry/Speedway fans who questioned Ford and accusing him of cheating but we're told by Poole fans that it was a extremely serious injury If anybody can prove that the injury was life threatening and that Poole didn't cheat then I will apologise Howarth hadn't been scoring 0 in last few meetings like North though. It was only in one meeting he didn't score. Regardless of who scored what, cheating is still cheating
  14. I assume those who were telling us that the injury was extremely serious and that their team didn't cheat such as Starman will be able to prove that the injury wasn't just a hand injury?
  15. Bit of a surprise as its a big step up from the NL to the EL. Nothing is certain yet as Len has said it's an ambition at the moment but it would be good to see a new team joining
  16. If rumours are true and it's a hand injury then there was no reason why North couldn't have ridden in the Semi final second leg!
  17. If true then you can see why they kept it so quiet. Hardly life threatening or enough to stop Dakota racing. Would explain why he didn't rush home. I guess we will soon see
  18. Doyle won't miss SGP practices so he won't want to go to a Friday or Saturday track. As a Swindon asset I think he will be a Robin next year. Rosco has already said he is a rider he is considering.
  19. Yes and that's when we had injuries. Kylmakorpi was injured from end of August onwards. King was injured near end of August Garrity was out with injuries and carrying injuries end of August/Start of Sep and then got injured again. Harris got injured start of September
  20. Very we said. Coventry lead the table for most of the season. Unfortunately we were hit with injuries to every one of our 1-7 in the last 6 weeks otherwise I honestly believe we would have finished top as even with injuries to key riders, we only missed out on top spot by 4pts (the sham on sky in June) Garrity & Kylmakorpi had been two of our strongest riders esp at home so to lose them both was a big blow. We replaced a rider scoring double figures at home with a guest that scored 3 whilst Poole found a way to replace a rider who hasn't scored with one that scored 9.
