Unlucky for Somerset to lose Bjerre. I think Leicester are capable of winning the return leg and progressing in the cup

Wolverhampton V Coventry 10th April (challenge)

WOLVERHAMPTON have announced reduced admission prices for Monday nights Keep Bees On Track challenge match against Coventry. However, a turnstile will be available at the normal price for those wishing to donate to the Coventry fighting fund. Wolves local rivals lost the use of Brandon Stadium during a turbulent winter and a campaign group was set up to assist riders who lost team places as a result, and to work on the bid to restore racing to Coventry as soon as possible. Mondays meeting features six of the seven riders who were due to line up for the Bees in 2017, whilst ex-Coventry man Rory Schlein steps in for Kenneth Bjerre. The reduced admission is £15 adults, £10 concessions, £5 juniors and £1 children. Normal admission is £18, £13, £7 and £1 the difference will be the donation. Promoter Chris Van Straaten said: When I saved Wolverhampton back in 1986 the first meeting back was at Brandon on an emotional night. To lose the Bees is a massive blow to the sport, just like it was with Cradley all those years ago. We are all hoping this is only a one season gap and we are more than happy to give the Bees fans another chance to support their team. Im also looking forward to coming up against our old foe Colin Pratt who returns to the Coventry team manager role for the night. -
Our season should have been starting now 😞 Lovely sunny Friday today as well.
-
On paper this should be a easy home win
-
The point limit drops to 42pts for making team changes so a lot of points would need to be dropped

Swindon V Belle Vue. 06/04/17.

In all fairness though, I wouldn't expect Your reserves or BWD to score much between them. They scored close to their average. Ellis I would expect a bit more. That is down to how weak the team has been built. Fricke is much better than 4pts so would have expected him to score more as has the potential to. -

Good away win for The aces Shows how good this team could be this season when Fricke scores 4 and they still win away -

Is Ellis as bad as his 0,0,0 or is he in the meeting? Always seemed a big ask for him in the top 5 but he shouldn't be getting beaten by Bewley at home. -

-
A good result for Leicester esp when they were without King and also lost a rider through injury. Brilliant to see Bates score 14pts. 🐝
