Never heard such a ridiculous story in all my life!!! Only last year we held a round of the national youth championships at Leicester....... The young Kelsey Dugard lost control and ended up ploughing straight across the centre green from a starting point of turn 4 diagonally across the centre to turn 2 whilst under power!!! Nearly taking a start marshall, medic and raker with him!!! Cars parked on centre green?? Utter piffel! !!!

Do any of you think British up and coming riders get to a comfortable stage (a team place in the lower order in the elite league, and a secure heat leading role in the premier league) & then stop........ developing? Almost get stuck in a comfort zone? Winning regular races in prem league, and happy to be getting 5-6 points in the elite league in supporting roles to the better foreign riders... so much so, that any chance of getting better goes out the proverbial window.. With not competing abroad in league racing where they may get the chance to race against the top riders and get better... maybe its a cost thing, or lack of ambition, or its just a job thing....? Do Poles, Danes etc.. ride in 2 leagues in there own country/domestic set up? Or do these country's not have an elite/prem, double up/down chance?

I personally don't think Worrall is ready, blimey! British speedway really is in the doldrums at world level..

Ok, so I have added Danny King, not convinced Bridger is the answer or even Ben Barker..... But is there another British rider even on same track as Harris and Woffey at rhe moment.......??

Some of the worst racing I have seen from KL, weather will not of helped though, looks sloppy top on a rock hard base thats been baked for days in 28-31C with little or no rain........ man made watering is no match for mother nature.. Apart from that, there seems to be quite an "ability gap" between team/riders this yr with Sweden decimated through injuries, and well, who else could we have fielded that you could "nail-on" as being better than Cook and Kennett?

Sounds like (if updates are correct) our main men had a few bike issues tonight? Kauko & Kev...... Also sounds like Adam Ellis and Branford had very decent meetings.... Oh well, I feared we might get a proper hammering tonight, and we were still in it upto heat 10/11. Dakota North doesn't ride for a Premier League team normally, does he? He is Peterborough rider...? Should have said [ Is Dakota North a Peterborough rider ] not he is..

I have followed speedway, for approx 35 years, never in all my time have I heard so much hate-filled drivel against a speedway promotion. I guess before social media alot of this would not have been said, because its easy to hide behind a keyboard.. I left facebook because I was fed up with all the bitching, nonsense posting and general Leicester Speedway Hating stuff, thought I might get a better, more adult debating on this site..... How wrong I was.

As this is the Edinburgh v Leicester thread, any chance of a discussion with just maybe an iota of this up and coming meeting at the threads heart? You know, whos riding, potential results etc.... instead of this incessant attack on the promoter and wife? Make a change to read some speedway racing stuff, you know what I mean?

Going back to the Lions v Rebels match, did anyone else think it was one of the most entertaining matches ever at BP? it had Lots of passing, incidents, controversy, a home team that started like a steam train, A fantastic away team fightback, all the ingredients a speedway junky needs. ....... ?? Yes? / No?

The only people that "SHOULD" have been privy to this outburst are Riders, Mechanics, Officials.... Anyone else should not really of been in a position to hear/witness it... Can anyone posting on this thread actually say they saw the whole incident? Or is it A case of I heard it from a mate who's uncle was talking to, who heard it from someone else? Just wondering... Great meeting though!!
