  1. Now confirmed by Speedway GB meeting officially off 3 minutes ago CONFIRMED| Monday's scheduled Elite League meeting between @officialKLstars and @OfficialCovBees is OFF. 0 retweets0 likes Reply Retweet Like More BTW Haza how are Lynn supposed to put it on social media when the social media guy has gone
  2. Probably why neither club have said anything official or Buster is calming down before saying anything
  3. After the way Sky have mucked Lynn about with this fixture I'd be surprised if Lynn would say more than 2 words to Sky...and the second one would be off
  4. Maybe they cannot contact Coventry at moment, they probably have a life away from speedway lol Or possibly still sorting it out
  5. It's about as relevant as all the EL matches leading up to the play offs. Watch it for what it is 4 riders doing 4 laps
  6. Sky Twitter feed. Nothing from either club as yet. Two TV meetings on trot cancelled 48 hours early, so unless we get a prolonged heatwave will we ever see speedway on Sky
  7. KL vs Coventry now not on Sky allegedly cos of poor weather forecast. Forecast looks pretty good to me. I'm beginning to wonder if there is a bit more to it.
  8. Has the gate & go track come into existence since NKI has been around? I ask because in the days of Topinka it was obvious that he had a massive input into how the track was, so wondered if NKI is the same. If the answer is yes maybe come the return of Troy Boy there might be a bit of grip make an appearance. As only an occasional visitor nowadays maybe some regulars could comment.
  9. I know you think Belle Vue are the be all and end all but can I point out it was not the opening home meeting, that honour (and probably their only one this season) went to Lakeside. I'm with Mimmo, rather see good racing than win trophies but I accept others don't agree. incidentally Lynn had decades of not winning not just a paltry eight years
  10. as the BSPA dont want to upset Sky by allowing periscope you are only doing exactly what the BSPA want. That should make you feel better
  11. So maybe by just issuing the statement the BSPA have covered themselves legally
  12. The whole deal is detrimental to the sport. I could go to Lynn tonight to see Belle Vue, I won't because the cold is not good news health wise but as it's likely to be a decent meeting I'd be more than happy to pay to watch it online. Pretty sure a fair few BV fans would too. I can't be the only one so Lynn and others I'm sure are missing out on additional revenue.
  13. so why has he got a monster urge to ride for Britain in the SWC then
  14. I apologise for casting aspersions on Swindons management. My point is still valid tho, changing fixtures like this is unprofessional.
  15. He declares on Twitter that he has done loads for British speedway and will do more than any Brit in the next 10 years. Well let's look at that..... He's doing nothing for Glasgow who by all accounts are doing a massively good job And He's doing nothing for Scunthorpe , but what has Scunthorpe ever done for him! He's not exactly put many bums on seats of British speedway for the last few years. OK he got on the BBC but so did the Belle Vue opening night farce! Id have a teeny bit of respect for him if he just came out and said the money's crap and it ain't worth my time.
  16. So you are suggesting that next Denmark wont be allowed to pick Nicki Pedersen! Sponsors should have no input into how a sport is run. Hopefully Rosco will grow some balls and the new BSPA chairman will back him.
  17. He's an arrogant little git isn't he. Stating he will be captaining Team GB. Didn't think the team had been selected yet! As Rosco has already stated that any rider who doesn't do the training camp next year wont be picked maybe he'll grow some balls and say if you don't do the British Final you don't ride for Team GB. He wont but he should IMHO.
  18. So Rosco has sole responsibility for everything at Swindon?
  19. Firstly I'm not your dear, darling and secondly did I name Rosco....NO. I cannot see Poole doing the same thing and AFAIK Middlo is not a full time speedway manager. If speedway want to be regarded as a credible professional sport it needs to act like one and crap like this has to be avoided.
  20. I begin to wonder where the brains are in the Swindon management team. First they didn't realise the Doyle/Morris Somerset/Wroclaw double booking and now they find an "unexpected" international fixture. It's not bloody rocket science If fans can read fixture lists from Poland surely "professional" speedway management can
  21. Blooming heck I thought this thread was about a speedway meeting not the ruddy politics show!
