So if he buys Team GB does he also fund all the training tracks from NL thro Pl to EL that are necessary to give the riders experience?
-
Maybe he wasn't getting enough attention
-
That crossed my mind and despite the fact I think him coming back on a near 7pt average is ridiculous if those are the rules there is no reason not to allow him to ride. Why should the BSPA say anything. No one, least of all Woffinden, has said what the problem actually is so we are only assuming it's with the BSPA. No one knows the full story cos Woffinden doesn't want to tell us. Well said.

All this confusion cos Lynn changed their race day to Thursday....well sometimes
-
Don't think a rider can guest until they have actually ridden for their home club, but hey who knows these days

So you think Rosco was lying live on TV BTW he didn't say it was ALL in place and neither did I I remember him saying something else I think along the lines that some things that Tai wanted are simply not possible but I could be wrong and that could have been on the EDP podcast As for walking away now. It's obvious that GB will not be seeded to the final in 2017 and will have to qualify and possibly not make it so Tai would gain no benefit from competing. The same probably applies to 2018 as well so maybe that's the logic for him walking away now. Who knows

Your argument doesn't hold up. Tai received nothing but praise and admiration from ALL quarters for his efforts and achievements in the World Cup. He got recognition on live TV from Rosco, who incidentally also said that several of the things Tai wanted done are in place. Let's just turn your argument on its head for a minute. If a salesperson got massively high sales figures and then wanted to run the company would he be qualified to do so? NO. It takes more than talent on a bike ( and nobody disputes Tai has that) to run a sport and effectively that is what Tai is asking to do.

No Lambert or Rose.

What Changes Have To Be Made In 2017?

Maybe he should put his money where his mouth is and promote a British club to show us how it should be done -
Time For Teamgb To Move On Without Woffinden.

And tyre trax accused me of wasting bandwidth -
OK mayhem was too strong a word maybe puzzlement would have been better. I don't think we should be told everything, far from it but when someone hints at something there is bound to be speculation or are we all expected to sit up straight, keep quiet and do as we are told. if you hint at something, which IMO Tai has, you should back it up.

As I said yesterday now Tai has issued a press release I will re-evaluate. Basically I still think his tweet yesterday smacked of being a spoilt child and the PR today really has solved absolutely nothing except prove he does need a good PR person beside him before he goes anywhere near social media. If he doesn't wish to make it public, do just that keep quiet. All he has done is cause mayhem and confusion, he has said nothing about the BSPA so quite honestly they have nothing to respond to, and for them to comment would IMO solve nothing. Tai redeemed hmself somewhat in my eyes (and possibly others) by his demeanour and actions during the SWC but I'm afraid this episode has just about taken us back to square one. But it has stopped any discussion about his relatively poor performance in the Grand Prix
-
How can you say he wants to do more for his country than any other rider? Do you know what they all think? He has the highest profile but that doesn't give him the monopoly of ambition for Team GB.
-
I haven't jumped to any conclusions. The tweet attributed to Tai on this thread sounds like a spoiled child. If he follows it up with a coherent press release I will re-evaluate and probably conclude he needs to have a PR person advise him at all times
-
Nearly as humourous as the posters calling anyone without a brown nose, haters
-
Sounds like the actions of a spoiled child who can't get his own way........don't let the door smack your arse on the way out

Sorry but no a fine will not suffice. To get a warning means breaking the rule to gain an advantage over your opponents. It is unfair to other riders to be allowed to pay a relatively small sum and get away with breaking the same rule again. If you insist on 4 riders in the race, then a fine and a 15 metre handicap at the very least.

As the facility for Kai H was authorised by the SCB (as told to our SCB on Twitter) it obviouly comes under the best known rule not in the rule book....."in the best interests of the sport" Case closed

Hate to be pedantic but it doesn't actually say you cannot have a guest for a #8. It might infer it, it might mean it but it doesn't say it. I really don't give a toss anyway cos it's all a farce I'm not enamoured with much Buster has done lately but I'm 100% with him when he said throw the rule book out and start again, sadly I don't think he will be allowed to do it.
-
I hate to argue with you about the rules, cos you are correct 99% of the time BUT show me where in the rules it says you cannot have a facility for a #8 Basically if it doesn't say you can't, you can What a farce this season is.
