As I and many others have paid to watch, I expect the organisers and broadcasters to provide a decent service by at least keeping the commentators informed.

We used the disabled ( not those specific ones) area several years back. From memory one person could sit with the wheelchair user and the rest of the group sat in the row in front. Also stewards came out before the gates opened and escorted us to our places, might have changed now. Could be worth ringing the stadium direct and asking.

Merely making the point that commentators are not doing the sport any favours. They make the same comments when there has been no rain. This has probably been the best of this years GPs but It’s far from a classic. if the racing was that enthralling you wouldn’t have the time to keep replying to me

I’m not really it’s on cos hubby is watching, but everyone moans that not enough fans go thro the turnstiles and at most televised meetings the commentators more or less tell you that half the meeting is not good. Hardly going to persuade new folk thro the gate. Sorry if my viewpoint offends you.

Not saying there is a magic wand but for about 90% of televised matches we hear “the track will get better” or “the track will come to the riders”. Basically telling fans you are only going to get half a decent meeting, not exactly a good selling point is it?

Keep being told the track will get better. It’s heat 8 and I fail to see where it’s got better, I suppose if it’s better by heat 20 they will be right.

Just wondering if I’m the only one who remembers Tatum having tantrums when asked to ride on anything wetter than a slightly damp track
